Woke up this morning with a headache behind my right eye this time. *exhales* It may have to do with how I slept or something. Maybe in a bad position? As my right shoulder and side of my neck are sore. So yah...probably sleep related.

Trying to make it go away but since I can't exactly take Excedrin when I'm currently taking Advil...who knows if I'll be able to. Heatpacks haven't helped yet, neither has caffeine...so gonna try a shower next and maybe going back to bed.

Had a slight stress headache today...though it may be slightly hormonal as well because it's once again behind my left eye, but since it started at work...it's probably stress related as well.

Woke up with a migraine behind my left eye this morning which is by far not the best birthday present to give myself. *shakes head* I was able to make it go away with rest and some meds and heatpacks. So there's that at least.

I ended up with a slight headache at work today.

Part of it could be the fact that I stayed up until 3 am last night and slept until my alarm went off (with a small disturbance at like 8am for an Amber Alert) for me to go to work.

But I think it was mostly triggered because I ended up being the cashier on the register from 12-130 today because our official cashier ended up going home early today and we needed the coverage and I was the free body to help cover as our two stockers were needed to finish up the truck.

And like being stuck on register isn't fun.

But it's even less fun when you have a constant stream of customers for that hour and a half.

Like the line never ended. Whenever I would get down to one person another customer would jump in line before I finished ringing up the transaction.

Which on the one side was great because it meant I wasn't going to be standing there bored waiting for someone to come check out.

On the other side it meant that I had to be 'on' for a full hour and a half. Which meant constant interaction. Constant chatter. I had to be social and couldn't just escape away from the register to go to a different corner of the store.

*exhales*

So yah, pretty sure that triggered my headache behind my right eye.

I took a couple of excedrin and a couple of breaks to try and make it go away but it's still lingering a bit.

I ended up getting my second dose of the Covid Vaccine on June 11th.

Ended up with one of those 'tired' headaches behind my eyes where you feel so tired that your eyes hurt.

Since then I've had a slight headache basically every day though I think most of them were caused by the heat wave we've been going through since it's been reaching 100 and over this week.

And when you're working 8 hours a day doing a closing shift in a building with soso ac and while still wearing a mask...yah...I've ended up with a headache behind my right eye from the tension in my neck.

Which again. Could be heat related, but could also be vaccine related as I got the shot in my right arm -as I am left handed- and the muscles were tense on my right side.

Though the migraine I got late June 17th/Early June 18th is probably hormonal in nature as it was behind my left eye.

I've spent a lot of the week mostly sleeping and taking hot showers/baths in attempts to get the headache to go away. Meds haven't really been working this time around and again most of the headaches are probably heat/ tension induced.

So I'm looking forward to a day off and staying in the cool darkness and hopefully avoiding triggering yet another headache.

The muscles in the right side of my neck started getting tense today towards the end of my work shift. Been taking Excedrin to stay on top of it but I think the stress and the heat here have contributed to a slight ache forming behind my right eye. Nothing major. Getting some real food after my shift seems to have helped it a bit.

The migraine was back this morning when I woke up. Aching behind my left eye.

I ended up taking excedrin and another long hot bath to try and make it go away.

Even delayed going into work a couple of hours to ensure that my headache was fully gone before I went in tonight as I didn't want to suffer again with another migraine. Thankfully I was able to get it gone before I went into work. So yay.

Woke up with a migraine behind my left eye.

Probably triggered by the stress of the day before. But since it's behind the left eye...it could be hormonaly related as well.

It probably also had to deal with the knowledge that I would be spending the entire holiday at work dealing with customers.

Tried to keep the migraine at bay but meds weren't working. Could make it fade a bit by taking breaks and resting my eyes.

But by the time the night ended my migraine was much worse.

To the point where breathing wrong could set off my gag reflex because my head was aching so much.

I was tense enough that my arms were tingling.

I ended up taking a long hot bath for like an hour which helped to relax my muscles enough to get the tingling arms to go away and the headache to finally leave so yay.

May have finally broken the migraine cycle. We'll see what the morning brings.

But apparently hitting the pressure points in my arm....

As well as grabbing my usual order at Wendy's....seems to have done the trick on getting my migraine to fade and my muscles to relax.

So like...I either needed a really deep massage.

Or I needed a specific nutrient found in my Wendy's order to finally break the migraine's grip on me.

In either case. I'm crossing my fingers that this will finally be the end of it.

Until the next time the migraine strikes....

Still having to deal with the stupid headache. It just likes to hover behind my right eye. Pretty sure it's caused by my neck/shoulder muscles being tense but literally nothing I've been trying to do to get it to relax has helped. It remains tense. It remains aching. At this point i'm resigned to having the migraine for a full nother week because it just keeps returning every day.

Sunday, May 9, 2021

Since Wednesday I've had an off and on migraine that's switched between hovering behind my left eye to hovering behind my right eye.

Pretty sure stress or hormones triggered it, but despite trying basically everything to get the migraine to fully go away...nothing has helped.

It keeps coming back despite me trying all the safe combination of meds I could, naps, heat packs, massages, food, water, caffiene, showers etc....

Migraine has remained constantly present. XP

I feel like I need a vacation away from people.

Monday, May 3, 2021

It's probably the late hour I went to bed, the restless sleep I had, and then the early hour at which I got up to go to work....but ended up with a slight headache behind my right eye today due to tense muscles in my neck. Thankfully taking some Excedrin helped it to fade away pretty quickly. Though it's threatening to come back because my neighbor is playing music so loud I can feel the bass from his music through the walls of my house like a second heartbeat in my chest and it's getting on my nerves.

Saturday, May 1, 2021

Been having headaches off and on for the past week or so for mostly stress related reasons  but didn't really have the energy to write them down here.

But I ended up with a brief headache/migraine behind my right eye today after three young kids decided to host their own mini concert with the squeaky dog toys up by the register.

They squeaked them for a good ten minutes straight loud enough that the workers at the register couldn't hear themselves talk. XP

I wasn't anywhere near it but the noise itself echoed around the store and got on my nerves which tensed my muscles up and caused a headache to form.

Took a few hours but managed to make it go away again so at least it didn't last the entire day.

Saturday, April 3, 2021

Currently dealing with a slight headache that's been pulsing a bit behind my right eye.

It's probably mostly due to me not sleeping well last night as I think the tension of yesterday prevented me from being able to relax and just rest and sleep.

Been taking some more Excedrin and eating food and drinking some mountain dew to hopefully keep it from becoming worse. We'll see though.

Friday, April 2, 2021

Had a slight tension headache begin to form behind my eyes today because I had to deal with a rather stressful situation with an antagonized customer that left my coworker in tears and me just trying to make nice and the stress of that tensed up my neck which began to tense up my other muscles in my head.

But thankfully an Excedrin and drinking more liquids and eating some food once I got home from work appears to have negated the headache so yay.

Thursday, April 1, 2021

Ended up with a slight headache behind my left eye today while I was at work.

Which was rather irritating because I'm pretty certain that I could have made it go away quickly if I'd been able to take Excedrin.

But I had taken a Tylenol/Aleve combination like not even an hour or so earlier to try and help relax my muscles as they've been rather achy for the past week now it feels like. And I was trying to get them feeling less sore.

But you can't take Excedrin if you've take Aleve because they work along the same pathways.

So instead I had to rely on Mountain Dew to try and use the caffeine to get rid of my headache that was forming. Also tried what I could to massage my shoulder while I was work...and well get distracted by work because often if I get distracted from my headache it goes away on its own.

It worked thankfully as I would only now be able to take my Excedrin if I still needed it.

Monday, March 29, 2021

I woke up just after midnight this morning with a pounding headache behind my left eye.

Which I'm not too surprised by as I tend to get hormonal related headaches right before and right after my period, but it's rather irritating all the same to have it occur.

I know it's more than likely hormonal related because those ones usually always occur behind my left eye and my left eye/left shoulder were aching like crazy.

There were potential other factors involved as well though.

Like it was Fast Sunday yesterday so I didn't eat as much as I usually do.
I also went to church yesterday so yay social stress.
I also drove up and down from my Grandma's home and driving can always tense up my muscles.
And I socialized with family in the sun for a good couple of hours.

So yah. There were plenty of other potential factors to also trigger this migraine.

And unfortunately it wasn't a beast that could be slayed by just sleeping.

I ended up going to bed at like 10pm last night and as I said earlier woke up after 12 then again around 2 then at 230 and I think at like 4 something before my alarm woke me up at 530 to go to work for my 6am shift.

*exhales*

I tried all sorts of medicines, heat packs, caffeine, showers....no dice.

It was really only after I got to work and grabbed a mountain dew that it started to fade away. *exhales*

But yah...not a good day for me.

Thursday, March 18, 2021

I woke up sometime before 3 am this morning with a major migraine behind my left eye.

I'm pretty sure it was triggered by not getting enough sleep the night before and being unable to take a nap without getting interrupted. It probably could have also been the stress of work the past couple of days that also helped to trigger it.

In any case. I took an Aleve and a Tylenol and a long hot shower before crashing with a heatpack on the couch upstairs until my alarm went off.

While the headache was faint when I woke back up, it ended up coming back while I was at work. Unfortunately due to circumstances I couldn't leave early, so I ended up surviving by drinking a coke and taking a couple of breaks and just trying to distract myself with work.

Once I got home I ate a couple of tuna fish sandwiches to get some more food in me, had a bit of mountain dew and took a 2 hour nap before grabbing an Excedrin and then taking a long bath to soak my aching muscles in the heat.

Currently the headache's finally managed to fade. But we'll see if it stays gone tomorrow.

Tuesday, March 9, 2021

I had a headache behind my right eye for most of the day today. I'm guessing due to sleeping the wrong amount or reading too much before work....Excedrin helped it to not be too bad throughout my work shift and it was basically gone by the time I got home.

Wednesday, March 3, 2021

Woke up with a slight headache behind my left eye today. Probably because I didn't get the right amount of sleep...aka I slept too long? Who knows.

I do know that my muscles have been rather sore, probably from the tension of yesterday's closing shift, and while taking some Tylenol and Aleve seems to have helped take at least the edge off of the soreness...the headache behind my left eye still remains. Hopefully I can make it go away at some point today but who knows when that will happen.
