She bounced in her carseat, eagerly doing her best to look out the window to the passing trees. "Dada!" She giggled, making grabby hands. "Dada Dada!!"
Her mother smiled, turning on the street that lead to their home. "Almost, dear one." She murmured, soothingly. "Almost. Dada's almost here." She could see the car in the driveway and breathed a sigh of relief. He'd made it home before them. Good. She didn't want to deal with a disappointed two year old if he hadn't.

Brain: What if we came up with a prequel/sidequel series of this one character so that we can further focus on this cool world we created?
Me: Yah that would be cool but--
Brain: What if we wrote a series following our MC when they're older?!
Me: That's also cool But!
Brain: What if--
Me: WHAT IF we FINISH the other WIPS we're working on first okay?!
Brain: :( :( :( :(
Me: Okay?
Brain: So....there's this completely new idea!
Me: *face palm*

Woke up with a slight headache behind my right eye today.
I think it was from not getting the right amount of restful sleep as I ended up tossing and turning most of the night.
I think it was because the place we're staying at may have gotten a little warm, and I don't usually sleep well if the home is too warm.

So I think that was the main reason why I had the slight headache.
A heatpack, some advil, and a distraction later, helped to make it go away.

A single ripple moved through the pond, disturbing the glassy stillness that had been it's surface until a moment ago.
He exhaled, bowing his head over the waters.
A moment of tranquility. Lost to an unknown creature disturbing the waters.

"It can't end in a question?" She growled, staring at the screen that had been the focus of her entire day, to the last paragraphs she'd been struggling over for the past two hours.
"It can't end in a question? Why not? What's wrong with it?"
It was silly, after all, she'd been working on a cliffhanger, and this question. This final question. Gave her that.
At least...she thought it had.
But now she wasn't so sure.
And she hated the feeling.
Hated that the doubt was once again in her mind where certainty had flowed so strongly.

Me: *attempting to write*
Brain: Nooo that's not right!
Me: Then what is right?
Brain: *shrugs* But we must write it right!
Me: So what is right!
Brain: *shrugs again*
Me: *exhales* *continues chipping away at writing*

Ended up with a slight headache today behind the eyes.
I'm pretty sure it's self caused as I've been working on writing all day.
So staring intently at a screen with hunched shoulders....probably doesn't do my muscles much good in preventing a headache from happening.
Hopefully a little sleep will help the last of it go away.
