I was right in the migraine lasting throughout the night.
Thankfully it wasn't a major migraine. It was one that while persistent didn't leave me suffering as badly as previous migraines had. So that was a bonus.
Still didn't feel well enough to get out of bed until around noon though because the migraine persisted and persisted and persisted.
Honestly it was on the fringes throughout the entire day and would flare up only to be soothed back down with some meds and a heat pack.

Ended up with a migraine, despite my best attempts to avoid it, today because stressor upon stressor upon stressor kept getting flung my way. Stress at work with coworkers not properly isolating animals and constantly asking me question after question after question.
Then came the stress of family asking me questions that made me feel stressed because I could sense their stress.
Then came the heat of it being super hot outside.
And the stress of trying to find a specific food item but failing to find it in multiple stores.....

So yah.
Not surprised I ended up with a migraine.
Tried to head it off with sleep -because I was tired---and meds and heat....
But nothing.

*exhales* This migraine will probably stick with me through the night.

I cursed, slamming on the brakes, my hand pressing down hard on the horn as the minivan suddenly merged in front of me, nearly hitting the front of my car. I swerved trying to avoid getting hit, only to have to jerk back so as not to be creamed by the semi tanker driving right beside me.
A few tense seconds and enough distance had separated between me and the other vehicles on the road for me to be able to move my foot back to the gas to get back up to speed before the car coming up behind me could catch up.
So close.
I swallowed, glaring at the minivan in front of me, totally clueless of the accident they could have caused because they hadn't taken the time to look in their blind spot before merging.

-Inspiration from nearly getting hit by a car while driving home.

Ended up with a slight headache today, just from the stress of over thinking and making things more of an issue than they probably should be.
Didn't help that I drove up north in Rush Hour Traffic either as that drive usually tenses up the muscles in my neck making it easy for a headache to wind it's way up behind my right eye.

Thankfully a bit of time with a heatpack has helped it to fade away.

Apparently we haven't replaced all the broken radio cords....or else one of the ones we have replaced has now gone on the fritz...because today at work, my manager had a bad radio cord.
So I was hearing this soft popping/knocking noise like someone was bumping into something or knocking on something and gaaaaah the noise was getting on my nerves.
Getting enough on my nerves that I was getting a headache behind my right eye because the muscles in my shoulder and neck were tensing up.

So I took action.
And had my manager replace his cord, which thankfully stopped the knocking over the radios in my ear.
I then went and grabbed an Excedrin so I could head off the headache and keep it from getting worse.
Which seems to have worked.
So yay! :D

Brain: *comes up with a dozen new story ideas to write while I'm at work*
Me: That would be fun...but we should probably focus on the story we're currently working on.
Brain: But we can totally write these all in one day! It will be simple.
Me: Looks at my long list of WIPs. Uh Huh...sure......

Ended up with a slight headache this afternoon after taking a quick nap.
So probably either a) tensed myself up while sleeping or b) slept the wrong amount.
Who knows.
It's been a stressful couple of days....so I'm guessing tension is more of the cause of this particular headache.
Thankfully it's been nothing major. So yay that.
