It was probably the stress from the day before. Maybe not enough sleep.
But I ended up with a nuclear headache behind my left eye today after fighting a minor headache that had lodged behind my eyes that I was certain was from just being tired.
But after a nap the headache had morphed into the nuclear migraine.
I ended up spending most of the rest of the day on the couch with soft tv sounds on in the background and occasionally getting up to either heat up my heat pack or to take a shower to try and relax the tense muscles in my neck.

Finally close to midnight I was successful in getting rid of it.

Not surprised to end up with another headache behind my right eye...honestly I think it was behind my left eye for a little bit too...been kinda distracted--I just know my head aches and it's more than likely from the stress of having to deal with yet another tooth problem and having to be really careful with my teeth for like a week and watch what I'm chewing and yah...it's stress. So much stress.

I silently exhale, keeping my face in a polite expression as the man continued talking at me.
At this point, ten minutes into a conversation that I was ready to be done with eight minutes ago, I figured the guy just liked hearing himself talk.
It wasn't like I had been fully interested when I asked my question aloud, but he had seemed to take it as a challenge to become a teacher and teach me everything he knew.
I fidget, glancing away every now and then, only half paying attention to the voice that was droning on and on and on.
Soon.
I hoped.
Soon he would wind up whatever tangent he'd now found himself in.
And I would be free to be able to leave without having him follow me around the store continuing to talk.
Soon.

Ended up with a headache this evening behind my right eye.
My guess the causation was probably stress....probably from being around too many people and having to 'give' too much energy to them and not receive enough in return.

The ache behind my right eye also joins the ache in my shoulder so it makes sense that it's stress related.

Some meds have helped it fade, but it seems to come and go.

Wednesday, October 23, 2019

Had a headache this morning again behind my right eye. So probably need to switch to a new contact lens instead of continuing to use the old one -as I threw away the blurry one-

As it usually occurs basically after I wake up and put my contacts in.
But thankfully the headache didn't last long.
So like...either I got distracted from the headache or my eye relaxed enough with the contact to not cause a headache any longer.

Who knows.

Tuesday, October 22, 2019

My contact is still giving me issues today. Tried to put in the one that was giving me issues yesterday to find it was still giving me issues so I put in a different contact, which seems to be working alright, but my eye was experiencing...strain? I guess? Not sure. The muscles in my shoulder are tense in the usual spot but I can't tell if the eye caused the tension or the tension caused the eye to ache. But yah, had a headache throughout most of work behind my right eye that wouldn't go away...probably because the managers were all stressing due to yet another District Manager Visit.

Monday, October 21, 2019

Had a slight headache behind my right eye because my contact was causing issues at work because it was randomly fuzzy and wouldn't unfuzz and felt stiff against my eye so that was just...annoying to deal with until I could get home and switch to a different contact.

Sunday, October 20, 2019

Have a slight headache forming behind my right eye this evening, mostly from the stress of worrying about other people. I'm currently working to relax the muscles that have tensed up...we'll see how well that works out.

Saturday, October 19, 2019

I ended up with a headache behind my right eye, which I'm pretty sure basically all headaches behind my right eye are caused by tension in my neck/shoulders, at work today after I heard some rather...idk...tense? News about a customer that's been causing trouble in our store for the past week. I haven't had to deal with them myself, but the tension from my coworkers who have dealt with him probably got to me as the customer...is a piece of work. Throwing tantrums, swearing, throwing items around the store. Yeesh. I'm glad I haven't had to deal with them.
In any case.
The headache behind my right eye lasted for basically all of work...and then it ended up switching to behind my left eye towards the end of work as I went to run a few errands after my shift ended. It vanished a lot quicker than the one behind the right eye did, mostly because I got some more food in me and some heat on my shoulders.

Thursday, October 17, 2019

My headache from yesterday ended up becoming nuclear. Though a low nuclear migraine as I've been still mostly able to function and didn't totally feel like I was dying.
But still. Sleep didn't help it to go away and ended up waking me up at like 4 am in the morning.
I took an early morning shower and grabbed a heat pack to try and get it to fade and it helped a little bit, and if I hadn't gone into work on time maybe another hour or so would have helped it to ease fully.
But I went into work and grabbed a Coke to help settle my queasy stomach and once I felt a little better began munching on goldfish crackers.

Didn't end up taking meds until my lunch break when the headache began to come back. So with a heat pack and a brief nap, along with Aleve and Tylenol I managed to survive work.

Grabbed a warm meal from Wendy's afterwards to get something more substantial into my system and took a two hour nap when I got home.

The headache is still present, but at least it's in the faint stages currently so I can function again.

We'll see if it sticks around for tomorrow.

Wednesday, October 16, 2019

To switch things up I ended up with a headache behind my left eye today.
It started up towards the last hour of work and got worse after I tried to take a nap to make it go away. *exhales* At least it's behind the left, but yah, it's not getting better hopefully it doesn't get worse.

Tuesday, October 15, 2019

Had a headache that started this morning, pretty soon after I put in my contact which probably means there's something about the lens irritating my eye. In any case it was also tension in the muscles as well as my shoulder area is still rather tense and sore.
Despite taking a variety of meds in an attempt to soothe it while at work, I couldn't make it fully go away, especially not when I was under a bit of stress trying to get tasks set to me by the head manager done.
I ended up taking a shower and like a two hour nap with a heatpack over my eyes and on my shoulder that helped it to mostly fade away so yay that! ^^;;

Monday, October 14, 2019

Ended up with a headache towards the end of work today. Not quite sure why but it's in the usual spot starting between shoulder blade and spine on the right side and climbing up my neck to rest behind my right eye. Maybe my contact is irritating me, or attempting to write tensed me up or trying to take a nap also tensed me up....in any case I'm tense and the ache won't fade.

Brain: *Has all the ideas until I get home*
Me: *chipping away at writing* Why can't you be more creative when we actually have the time to write?
Brain: *shrugs*

Wednesday, October 9, 2019

Have a slight headache coming behind the right eye currently.
Not sure why it decided to visit now.
Probably tensed myself up somehow.
Gonna go grab some meds and try and get it to go away.

Tuesday, October 8, 2019

I ended up with a headache behind my right eye during the middle of my lunch break at work today.
Not sure why it started there, but it persisted despite me taking Excedrin and grabbing a Dr. Pepper. Tried to take a nap which helped a little but the headache has been coming and going throughout the day despite my efforts of heat, shower, and more meds to make it go away.

Monday, October 7, 2019

Ended up with a headache behind my left eye after work today.
I'm thinking it's just an after effect of the spiritual high of yesterday but probably also from stress and not eating much.
The headache was helped a little after I grabbed food...but I'm heading to bed early in hopes of helping it fully vanish as meds, caffeine and heat packs didn't help it.

Sunday, October 6, 2019

Ended up with a headache behind my right eye today between sessions of Conference.
I think it's from waking up early to try and catch yesterday's afternoon session before today's morning session started.
I tried to take a nap between sessions but ended up chatting with a friend who needed to vent instead during the break so I didn't get as much rest and that probably tensed me up giving me the headache that is being rather...trying in going away.

Saturday, October 5, 2019

Ended up with a slight headache today, probably just from the stress of work and then trying to catch up on General Conference afterwards.

Friday, October 4, 2019

Brain: We're going to write all the stories today!!
Me: Writes one chapter of one story.
Brain: *sobbing* Why didn't we write all the things!!!
Me: ....Cus writing is hard?

Thursday, October 3, 2019

Been fighting a slight headache off and on today.
Pretty sure it's just a tension one though the ache in my head has moved from behind the left eye to the right eye.
I'm hoping that it will stay faint and not get worse, but if I keep getting bombarded with stress inducing things...I'm not certain it will stay faint for long.

Wednesday, October 2, 2019

Ended up with a slight headache at work today, possibly triggered by the fire alarm that beeped incessantly for the first couple of hours at work and my manager was stressing over that.
Then I was dealing with both loud and energetic coworkers today while I was trying to conserve energy...so yah slight headache behind the left eye today due to tension.

Tuesday, October 1, 2019

I bit down into the garlic bread, chewing slowly as I watched the Vampire pace back and forth in front of me.
He made a face, nose wrinkling as I took another bite. "Do you have to eat that in front of me?"
I swallowed and nodded. "Yes."
"Typical." He tsked, turning away.
"Better to be safe--"
"Than sorry. I know. I still don't like it."
I shrugged a shoulder, sitting back in my chair. "Well, it's not every day that I run into a vampire. I'm going to take precautions."
