Quiet music played in the background as we took our seats.
I glanced around and smiled, relaxing in the familiar surroundings of the restaurant that I used to come to all the time when I was younger.
"I'm glad we did this."
I nod, smiling as I look across the table. "Me too." I said, reaching out a hand. It was nice to get away from things for a while. "Me too."

Brain: *happily chugging along planning sequels and prequels and threequels to an already written story idea*
Me: *sees new idea concept*
Brain: ()_() ooooo!!!
Me: No!WAIT---
Brain: LETS WRITE THAT ONE!!!!!
Me: *exhales*

Tuesday, January 29, 2019

Brain: You think we can work on three stories at once?
Me: ….No.
Brain: *pulling up three separate tabs* But we could!!
Me: It's not going to work.
Brain: We should try!
Me: *sighs* *tries*
*hours later*
Me: Well at least we finished ONE story.
Brain: *pouting* But we didn't even look at the other two!!
Me: And you expected a different outcome?
Brain: ….Yes.

Monday, January 28, 2019

Brain: We should start a completely new story! It will be quick and fun and easy---
*Seven hours later*
Me: *grumbling* Easy huh? We're not even halfway done with the original thought!!!
Brain: ^^;; Uh...oops?
Me: *more grumbling as I return to typing*

I knew their eyes weren't on me. But still, the attention directed my way was difficult to tolerate. I wasn't used to being in the public's eye, wasn't used to being more than a wallflower.
But apparently when you are in charge of watching the world's cutest baby...you can't hide in the shadows any more. Not when your young charge is laughing and cooing and making grabby hands at every person who passes by.
Still though, a moment of peace away from the eyes of the public would be nice, if only for a few minutes.

Woke up with a small headache behind my right eye that refused to leave for most of the day.
Eating food helped it a bit as well as heat and Excedrin.
.
But overall it just made it difficult to focus.

Friday, January 25, 2019

I had a slight headache this morning.
Which isn't at all surprising because I was quietly stressing about taking care of my friend's baby for a couple of hours.
So it made sense for me to get a slight headache.
It was behind the left eye today. Caused probably from tension in my neck and shoulders.
But after taking off my coat so I was less constricted, and massaging my neck with a stone and taking some Excedrin the headache thankfully faded away.

So yay.

Thursday, January 24, 2019

I've had twinges of a headache throughout the day today.
But I was more proactive in trying to keep it at bay.

By bringing liquid and snacks with me as well as my heat pack so when I drove up north I was able to stay on top of staying hydrated and fed, and when dropping by family was able to heat up the heat pack to help keep my muscles relaxed. I also took the butterbur before I left the house this morning and when my muscles began complaining at the family's place, I took some Excedrin.

So yay. It's been like barely one on the pain scale today. And hopefully getting enough sleep again tonight will help to make it so one doesn't show up tomorrow. But we'll see.

Wednesday, January 23, 2019

The headache went nuclear last night.
It was horrible.
Tried to take some Tylenol.
Tried to take a warm shower to relax the muscles.
Didn't help.
Woke up like around 2amish and couldn't really get back to restful sleep.
Reacquainted myself with the toilet bowl more than once.

It was awful.
Nearly called off work because I was exhausted and in pain and just not feeling good.
Ended up going to work.
And thankfully with the help of some pepsi and exercise and like Excedrin....
The headache faded away around halfway through my shift.
So yay for that.

But gah. I hate those nights where I'm kept up and kept from resting.

Tuesday, January 22, 2019

It was just an afternoon full of stress. Which tensed me up. Which gave me quite the headache.

First it was the hour drive up north, dealing with super slow drivers or multiple drivers that nearly hit me, and then like four dump trucks in a row with sand/gravel flying from their backs in a mini sand storm.
Then there was the frentic semi stressed/sad energy of the family...
And waiting for a pizza to show up....an hour after I ordered it....
And then there was the drive back home....

So yah. Tension and probably not enough food caused the headache of today. It's bad enough I don't expect it to do well for tonight, though I'm hoping sleep will help knock it back.

Monday, January 21, 2019

Woke up with the same headache behind my right eye that I went to bed with.
Which means I either didn't sleep well or I slept wrong and maybe slept tense.

Did what I could to make the headache go away with some AdvilMigraine and then some Excedrin while at work and exercising out my muscles whenever I could.

But decided to try something different today as I received the thing of Butterbur I ordered the other day which is supposed to help with migraines so took one of those as well.
So far seems to be helping as the headache is currently gone...we'll see if it stays gone.

Sunday, January 20, 2019

I probably could have avoided a headache happening today....
But I ended up not feeling good with a sore chest/throat and so crashed for a really long nap....
And I probably slept a bit too long.
Because I had a headache when I woke up.
Which either means I slept too long or wrong or you know....woke up at the wrong moment. *exhales*
Still...at least I avoided one for most of the day.

Saturday, January 19, 2019

Ended up with a headache at work today which considering I've had one like for the past week isn't surprising at all.

It persisted throughout most of my shift, but I was attempting to drink and eat food a little more often as well as working out the muscles in my back when I could....
Which something in there seems to have helped.
Because the headache has faded away for a bit and the muscles in my back are less tense.
So yay overall.

Friday, January 18, 2019

It must be tension. Muscles just like to be tense. Because like when I wake up I'm fine, but as I fully wake up and become aware....the aches start, the muscles tense and then there's a headache behind the eye once more. *exhales* I need to distract myself from the pain or something.

Thursday, January 17, 2019

It's a recurring theme this week.
Another work day.
Another headache.
This one was more mobile though. Started behind the right eye, again probably due to tense muscles but with some Excedrin and heat on my neck it faded...only to move over to the left eye. *exhales* It stayed there for a while until I took a nap and more meds...and now it's gone back to lurking behind the right eye and has taken a turn for the worse in being more painful than this morning.
So. Not. Fun.

Wednesday, January 16, 2019

Ended up with a headache at work today because the muscles between my spine and right shoulder blade are tense. Probably tension from worrying and other things.
But shoulders are tense which lead to an ache behind my right eye....seems to be favoring the right eye currently these headaches.

Some Excedrin and working out the muscles and resting seems to have helped it though.

Brain: We should write a murder mystery story!
Me: ...we should?
Brain: YES! I mean the Plot! The cause of death! The suspects! The hunt to find the bad guy! It will be great.
Me: ...You do realize we tried this like a year and a half ago right?
Brain: So?
Me: We didn't finish that story.
Brain: So?
Me: So maybe we can't write crime---
Brain: LET'S WRITE THE STORY!!! We can do it this time! Promise!!!
Me: *exhales*

Monday, January 14, 2019

I ended up with another headache while at work today.
Kinda my own fault.

Daddoo was texting me while he had limited cell service which meant I needed to answer quickly as Daddoo wouldn't be able to respond for long.

So I ended up stressing myself trying to answer while juggling helping customers and doing my job.
Which meant my shoulders got stressed as I was intently focused and *exhales*

Yah it's behind the right eye again, where the headache has liked to hang out recently.
So far meds and heat and sleep haven't helped. Soooo......yah might be a bad one. XP

Sunday, January 13, 2019

There are days when I'm more sensitive to noises than others.
And today was one of those days.
Where noises were getting on my nerves a bit more.
Which isn't surprising coming down from a migraine I tend to be sensitive.
But it was rather difficult to sit in Relief Society today because there was a lot of whispering going on behind me for like the first half. It was getting bad enough that I could feel an ache coming behind my eyes though thankfully it didn't last as the whispering quieted down after that.

Saturday, January 12, 2019

It's hard to remain headache free when you don't get a moment to yourself at work.
I started getting an ache behind my eyes around lunch time when the crowds at work were getting heaviest.
Thankfully some caffeine helped to keep it at bay and it didn't progress much past that point.

Friday, January 11, 2019

Woke up with the same headache I went to bed with last night.
Which was rather unpleasant I must admit.
As the muscles in my back were still stiff which meant my shoulder was still stiff which meant the headache behind my right eye still existed.

Thankfully, I had the day off so I could afford to laze about in bed. Which I did with my heatpack until nearly noon by which the headache began to fade away after taking some advil and such. And maybe distracting myself from the pain.

But currently no headache. So yay.

Thursday, January 10, 2019

The headache came on around 1:30 or so today. Right before I got off work.
It's settled behind the right eye currently but it started by the shoulder blade and worked its way up. *exhales*
It's probably from residual stress from yesterday's stressful day. Or I could have been more sensitive to slightly stressful scenarios today.
Who knows.
But it is one of those headaches that's refusing to go away.
Sleep hasn't helped, meds have only taken the edge off, heat packs are only slightly helped.....so I'm going to try a shower and then maybe go back to bed.

Wednesday, January 9, 2019

I ended up with a headache today while at work.
Which wasn't surprising in the least to me.
Because we had the district manager come in for a visit.
Which meant that the managers were more stressed out and wanting everything to look nice and perfect which therefore meant doing last second tasks to ensure that image was in tact when the DM arrived.
But mostly...it was the constant radio use that probably caused the headache as having people constantly talking in my ear, especially when there's static involved and tension and such already...

Doesn't bode well for me at all.
And conversation increased today because the DM was there and the managers wanted us to 'appear productive' and note how much we were helping the customers and *exhales*

Yah I'm not surprised I got a headache.
Some Excedrin helped to take the edge off.
But the tension in my right shoulder blade area has traveled up my neck and behind my right eye.
So it's unlikely that the thing will go away today. At least not until I get those muscles to relax. *exhales*

Tuesday, January 8, 2019

Me at work: ENERGY!
Brain at work: ALL THE STORY IDEAS!!
Me at home: sleeeeepppyyy
Brain at home: Wat r werds?

Monday, January 7, 2019

Me: And remember. We can't multitask so just pick one thing for us to work on--
Brain: LET'S READ AND WRITE AND DRAW ALL THE THINGS AT THE SAME TIME!!!!
Me: *facepalm* No..nooooo let's try this again.
Brain: *refuses to listen*

Sunday, January 6, 2019

My hands gripped the wheel, my knuckles going white as I put my foot on the break, trying to slow down slowly enough that I didn't skid in the snow as I peered through the wall of white. "Come on" I whisper trying to see the stop light I knew had to be just a head. "I'm nearly there. Come on." Just another mile and I would be able to be safely home out of this crazy blizzard. I just needed to find the--"HA!" I grin, finally spotting the twin beams of red through the darkness. There was the light I needed to turn left at. Home. Here I come.

-Inspiration from driving in a blizzard.

Saturday, January 5, 2019

It happened again.
My manager asked me if I was suffering from a headache.
Which I wasn't at that point.

But wouldn't you know it?
An hour or so later.
I could feel it pulsing behind my left eye.

Which isn't surprising as the day was already starting out to be stressful at work.
But still.
Not welcomed.

Thankfully taking a couple of Excedrin helped to defeat the headache beast before it became a total pain. So yay.

Friday, January 4, 2019

I've ended up with a slight headache today.
Pretty much self caused.
As usually when I spend the day focused on writing.
I forget to focus on keeping my shoulders relaxed, and my jaw not clenched and you know....staring intently at a computer screen at hours on end, while also shifting my attention between it and the TV...is probably not the best of ideas. *exhales*
Still.
At least I got some writing done! Huzzah! :D

Thursday, January 3, 2019

Brain: ...We....should....write....
Me: I think we should sleep.
Brain: But...write?
Me: You're too tired to write. Let's sleep.
Brain: ….oh...kay.
Me: *tries to sleep*
Brain: *wide awake* SO I was thinking for this story idea we could do this one thing, and oh! there's this sequel idea I think we should work on plus I came up with FIVE NEW story ideas and---
Me: -_-

Wednesday, January 2, 2019

Gave myself a slight headache today.
It was brief.
And went away quickly.
But pretty sure it was just from the tension in my shoulders as I was getting frustrated and annoyed at work and couldn't really relax.

Tuesday, January 1, 2019

Brain: So we can totally write three stories a month and get them posted!
Me: ….
Brain: Like we focus on one fandom, then another fandom, and OH! Get these sequels rolling too.
Me: ….
Brain: And then if we get fast enough we can draw and do MORE and oh--
Me: *interrupts* You do realize that you have like the shortest attention span ever right?
Brain: O_o What?! No I do--
Me: You came up with TWO New ideas TODAY. Not to mention notebooks filled with other ideas that we've yet to start and you think we can actually accomplish more than one story a month?
Brain: …. ^^;; Yes?
Me:*exhales*
