Another headache behind my right eye formed this afternoon.

Judging by the tension in my shoulder and neck it's probably due to some sort of stress....though I'm guessing it's more energy related stress than anything else as my coworkers were....well many of them weren't in the best of moods today due to various personal problems they're all having.
Which makes it hard to stay relaxed when you can feel the tension/stress/anger/pain of the others whenever you're near them.

I did what I could to stay away from them...but yah....
I also think that I ended up with a slight headache because I was getting bored at work.
Usually if I can keep working and keep myself distracted then it's easier to not feel like I'm walking around in circles doing nothing.

Unfortunately, it was a slow Saturday. Like it almost felt like a tuesday it was so slow and we had so many workers in the store today probably in preparation for after Christmas shoppers...but I guess like no one had enough money left to come into the store.

But yah. When I'm left with nothing to do because all the things have been done....it also tenses me out because I'm left thinking I could be doing something else like writing or sleeping or something besides just standing there trying to think of something to do.

*exhales*

Hopefully the headache will fade but so far meds and heat packs haven't seemed to be helping too much.

Thursday, December 26, 2019

I ended up with a headache this morning that refuses to go away.
Which I'm not quite surprised by as I was expecting a more migrainey headache to happen.
Especially after the stress of the past couple of days.

Which was probably culminated by the day ending yesterday on a slightly...down note as roomie came home in a super bad mood and other people had bad days yesterday and it probably effected me a bit.

*exhales*
But yah. I tried my best to have meds and heat get rid of the migraine while I was at work, but it didn't help at all. Thankfully the ache behind my right eye isn't debilitating. It's probably a three or four on the pain scale. So annoying, but I was still able to function basically normally at work.

Coming home I took a nap, ate some real food, and have more heat and meds.
Still isn't going away.
but at least it's not getting worse so there's that.

Debating about taking a shower currently to see if that helps.
But maybe if I take out my contacts and have an earlier night that will help as well.

We'll see.

Tuesday, December 17, 2019

Considering how stressful yesterday was on me....it's weird that today was the day where I started getting a headache behind my eyes.

I think it was just like...a different sort of tension though.
Like work stress in many ways I'm used to.
But add in something out of the ordinary into the mix.
And WHAM a headache tries to appear.

Though I was able to vanquish the beast early on with some Excedrin and rest. So HA.

But yah.
It was mostly triggered I think....because I saw an article online about a death at the university I went to.
And like...curiosity had me clicking it.
Only to discover that the person who died....was one of my teachers.
And they had...unfortunately, committed suicide over the summer.

And like...it just struck a cord with me you know?
Like I knew this teacher.
Took multiple classes from them.

And had actually been talking about the teacher like...last month or so to a different person who also took classes from them.

Like...it's haunting to realize you were talking about someone who had passed on...and like you didn't know they had.

But yah.
My brain went into 'what if' mode and started worrying and coming up with arguments on how this could have been prevented and like....

When I'm trying to help customers, trying to get opening tasks done, as well as plot out what I'm going to be writing in one of my stories....

All this mental internal tug of war....
Definitely can make the stress levels rise and the tension to increase in my neck and then I'm dealing with a headache.

Again, I caught it early thankfully.

But note to self.
Try not to stress over things that I have no control over.

Still. Y_Y What a sad ending to a great teacher. Y_Y

Sunday, December 15, 2019

I think I tensed myself out today.
As I've had a faint headache behind my eyes today.
And it occurred towards the end of church and has lasted for basically the whole evening.
So I'm guessing I was stressing during church.
Which I was in a way because I was trying to play Pokemon Go's community event, and I'm worrying about a package that was supposed to have been delivered but i haven't yet gotten word that it's delivered. Plus I'm worrying about what presents to get a few other people.
Then someone asked me to give a prayer at the munch and mingle but I said no because my voice isn't that loud and that stressed me out.
Plus i probably haven't eaten enough food today or drunk enough water and who knows I may have slept for the wrong amount of time.
So yah.
A faint headache is to be expected.
I've tried tylenol and excedrin, a shower and heatpacks as well as eating and drinking more fluids...but yah. Still have the faint headache.

Wednesday, December 11, 2019

Had a slight headache start up behind my left eye...which was probably caused by stress.
Mostly stress of talking with family.
Because I bring up things and then get responses that stress me out.
*exhales*

Thankfully distracting myself with other things made it a brief headache that didn't stick around longer.

Monday, December 9, 2019

Ended up with a headache behind my left eye while at work today.
From stress really.

Because I was worrying about figuring out Christmas stuff with family.
But also because it was one of those Mondays where the day quickly got away from me.
Namely because we had three cat adoptions in a row and I was the only one in my department and each cat adoption can take up to thirty minutes to complete.
So after all was said and done I ended up being like two hours behind in opening.

Which always stresses me out when I'm trying to get the department opened and it was after lunchtime and I hadn't yet started the bedding change.

*exhales*

The headache, thankfully didn't get too intense. But it did hover for most of the afternoon which was rather annoying.

Sunday, December 8, 2019

Woke up with the same headache I went to bed with. Just laying there behind my right eye.
Been trying meds, a shower, and a heat pack for most of the day and it's helped a bit, though I do think that eating some actual food and just well...getting distracted from the headache probably helped me relax a bit so I wasn't tensing my muscles quite as much.

Saturday, December 7, 2019

I ended up with a headache towards the end of work behind my right eye.
Which is the normal indicator of a tension headache when it occurs there.
And I had enough reason to be dealing with tension as work itself was...stressful first thing in the morning.
First with unexpected text messages.
Then with the apparent word that there was issues with our animals in the store...
*exhales*

Plus like the 8 hours of customer service and trying to help my coworkers out and probably not getting enough oxygen into my lungs and probably not eating enough and probably not getting enough water....

So yah.
Tension.
So I'm just spending the evening trying to relax...which is hard to do when I'm trying to get Christmas ordered for everyone...so yah.
Yay stress.

Wednesday, December 4, 2019

Had a slight headache briefly hit around dinner time as I haven't been getting enough sleep, been stressing myself out and probably not eating enough.

I was tired for most of the day and tried to relieve that by taking a nap, but the nap wasn't the right length as I woke up with a slight ache behind my eyes and tension in my neck.
That was aggravated by suddenly having a bunch of different people texting me all at once about Christmas related things and I was stressing over that apparently.

But with some heat, some tylenol and mountain dew and actually eating a more substantial meal besides brownies...I managed to get the headache to go away.

Surprisingly fast really.
I only had it for a couple of hours which is short compared to other headaches.

Sunday, December 1, 2019

Yah...the headache stuck with me throughout the night,
But some more heat and some meds in the morning helped it to fade enough that I was able to go to church. So yay for it going away so I could go pretend to be social after having a restless night.

Saturday, November 30, 2019

I ended up with a headache towards the evening.
I think it was from the stress of trying to write and watching shows and probably the last four days of inconsistent sleep schedules and not eating well....

But yah. My head aches.
Nothing is helping currently.
Not a shower.
Not heat.
Not meds.

So I'm hoping getting some sleep will help...but since I've been resting most of the afternoon and it's still present...I'm not hopeful that sleep will make it go away.

Wednesday, November 27, 2019

Got a slight headache behind my right eye this morning.
Mostly because I let myself get stressed out over worrying about having a gift for a friend that was unexpectedly dropping by work.
But an Excedrin helped to kick it to the curb so yay.

Tuesday, November 26, 2019

I have a slight headache behind the eyes today.
I think it's mostly from taking a longer nap after work than I meant to.
But it probably could also be influenced by not eating -because I was sleeping- not drinking enough liquids -because I was sleeping- and probably sleeping tense so my muscles are tense.

soooo

Doing my best to get heat on the muscles. And I ate a thing, and drank a bit of juice and will probably need to get water, and yah....probably need more sleep too.

So tired.

Monday, November 25, 2019

I have a faint headache behind my right eye currently.

I think it's partially tension that's causing it...or I just let myself get irritated.
As I was doing alright until my roomies got home and they started clip clipping around above my head with their boots/shoes on.

Probably shouldn't have irritated me...but repetitive sounds can get to me rather easily. *exhales*

I've taken meds and put on a heat pack...but so far it's not helping.
That doesn't bode well for it going away tonight.

Saturday, November 23, 2019

I ended up with a headache this morning. Basically woke up with it.
Which makes me think I slept tense.

But it didn't help that I stressed myself out over small things while I was at work.
To the point where I needed to buy a soda to have the caffeine help chase away the ache.

Thankfully it helped.

Note to self.
Stop stressing over things.

Thursday, November 21, 2019

Unfortunately, I was right with the headache staying the night. *exhales*
It woke me up just before 3am.
So I ended up taking more meds and a long shower before attempting to go back to bed.
It didn't help.
So when my alarm finally went off...I felt horrible.
My head was aching and aching and aching.
So I took more meds, Advil this time, and grabbed my heat pack and went to work.

And was only able to function for like half an hour before I had to go to my manager and ask if I could use both my fifteens and take like a half hour nap in the breakroom to see if that would help me.

Manager said yes,
So I warmed up my heat pack I leave at work for that very reason and took a thirty minute nap.

Thankfully.
That helped to finally break it and I was able to function at work much better after that.

Wednesday, November 20, 2019

Ended up with a slight headache tonight, probably because I wasn't able to take the nap I wanted to take, but also probably because I'm stressing over other people's stressful situations.
And yah....
I'm just tired.
Hopefully a bit of food and sleep will help it go away,
But from how the headache is acting I wouldn't be surprised if it stays the night.

Saturday, November 16, 2019

Have had minor quick flashes of headaches throughout the day.
Mostly when my muscles have begun to tense up.
Thankfully they haven't stayed long and I've managed to make them go away without having to do anything really to get them to fade.

Tuesday, November 12, 2019

I ended up with a headache behind my left eye this evening.

It was a combination of factors really.
First it probably started with me not getting enough sleep last night because I stayed up later than planned.
and then it was probably the build up of stress from all the managers around me worrying about the bigwigs visiting the store.

But I was handling those rather well. No signs of a headache.

Until I got back from lunch.
And was surprised with the news that I would be training one of our cashiers to be in my department.
Which meant I had to switch gears and go into 'teacher mode'

Which is a whole different type of energy.
Energy I hadn't planned for.

So the ache started behind my eyes about an hour before I was off.
The ache of 'you're tired you need sleep.'

And so I crashed once I got home.
But the headache got slightly worse.

Thankfully a hot shower, tylenol, taking out my contacts, and a heatpack have helped it to fade again. So woot.

Monday, November 11, 2019

A faint headache was starting up behind my right eye today.
Mostly I think it was from feeling the stress of what everyone else in the store was feeling because we apparently have a dozen or so important people going to descend on our store tomorrow morning and everyone is just...freaking out.

But thankfully some Excedrin and the distraction of trying to get everything clean helped to make it go away.

Friday, November 8, 2019

Ended up with a major migraine this morning mostly I think from the tension of yesterday where I had to train a new coworker on top of an eight hour shift and then had to go up to see the dentist...and the dentist always tenses me up.
So I woke up today this morning with my head aching behind my left eye and no amount of meds or long showers would help it.
Turns out I just needed to eat something more substantial.
As due to the dentist, my mouth was rather sore, and so I hadn't felt like eating much.
But having a more substantial meal helped the migraine to go away.
So probably my body was just craving food and was complaining via making my head ache.

Wednesday, October 30, 2019

It was probably the stress from the day before. Maybe not enough sleep.
But I ended up with a nuclear headache behind my left eye today after fighting a minor headache that had lodged behind my eyes that I was certain was from just being tired.
But after a nap the headache had morphed into the nuclear migraine.
I ended up spending most of the rest of the day on the couch with soft tv sounds on in the background and occasionally getting up to either heat up my heat pack or to take a shower to try and relax the tense muscles in my neck.

Finally close to midnight I was successful in getting rid of it.

Tuesday, October 29, 2019

Not surprised to end up with another headache behind my right eye...honestly I think it was behind my left eye for a little bit too...been kinda distracted--I just know my head aches and it's more than likely from the stress of having to deal with yet another tooth problem and having to be really careful with my teeth for like a week and watch what I'm chewing and yah...it's stress. So much stress.

Monday, October 28, 2019

I silently exhale, keeping my face in a polite expression as the man continued talking at me.
At this point, ten minutes into a conversation that I was ready to be done with eight minutes ago, I figured the guy just liked hearing himself talk.
It wasn't like I had been fully interested when I asked my question aloud, but he had seemed to take it as a challenge to become a teacher and teach me everything he knew.
I fidget, glancing away every now and then, only half paying attention to the voice that was droning on and on and on.
Soon.
I hoped.
Soon he would wind up whatever tangent he'd now found himself in.
And I would be free to be able to leave without having him follow me around the store continuing to talk.
Soon.

-Inspiration from watching a customer encounter with another customer.

Sunday, October 27, 2019

Ended up with a headache this evening behind my right eye.
My guess the causation was probably stress....probably from being around too many people and having to 'give' too much energy to them and not receive enough in return.

The ache behind my right eye also joins the ache in my shoulder so it makes sense that it's stress related.

Some meds have helped it fade, but it seems to come and go.

Wednesday, October 23, 2019

Had a headache this morning again behind my right eye. So probably need to switch to a new contact lens instead of continuing to use the old one -as I threw away the blurry one-

As it usually occurs basically after I wake up and put my contacts in.
But thankfully the headache didn't last long.
So like...either I got distracted from the headache or my eye relaxed enough with the contact to not cause a headache any longer.

Who knows.

Tuesday, October 22, 2019

My contact is still giving me issues today. Tried to put in the one that was giving me issues yesterday to find it was still giving me issues so I put in a different contact, which seems to be working alright, but my eye was experiencing...strain? I guess? Not sure. The muscles in my shoulder are tense in the usual spot but I can't tell if the eye caused the tension or the tension caused the eye to ache. But yah, had a headache throughout most of work behind my right eye that wouldn't go away...probably because the managers were all stressing due to yet another District Manager Visit.

Monday, October 21, 2019

Had a slight headache behind my right eye because my contact was causing issues at work because it was randomly fuzzy and wouldn't unfuzz and felt stiff against my eye so that was just...annoying to deal with until I could get home and switch to a different contact.

Sunday, October 20, 2019

Have a slight headache forming behind my right eye this evening, mostly from the stress of worrying about other people. I'm currently working to relax the muscles that have tensed up...we'll see how well that works out.

Saturday, October 19, 2019

I ended up with a headache behind my right eye, which I'm pretty sure basically all headaches behind my right eye are caused by tension in my neck/shoulders, at work today after I heard some rather...idk...tense? News about a customer that's been causing trouble in our store for the past week. I haven't had to deal with them myself, but the tension from my coworkers who have dealt with him probably got to me as the customer...is a piece of work. Throwing tantrums, swearing, throwing items around the store. Yeesh. I'm glad I haven't had to deal with them.
In any case.
The headache behind my right eye lasted for basically all of work...and then it ended up switching to behind my left eye towards the end of work as I went to run a few errands after my shift ended. It vanished a lot quicker than the one behind the right eye did, mostly because I got some more food in me and some heat on my shoulders.

Thursday, October 17, 2019

My headache from yesterday ended up becoming nuclear. Though a low nuclear migraine as I've been still mostly able to function and didn't totally feel like I was dying.
But still. Sleep didn't help it to go away and ended up waking me up at like 4 am in the morning.
I took an early morning shower and grabbed a heat pack to try and get it to fade and it helped a little bit, and if I hadn't gone into work on time maybe another hour or so would have helped it to ease fully.
But I went into work and grabbed a Coke to help settle my queasy stomach and once I felt a little better began munching on goldfish crackers.

Didn't end up taking meds until my lunch break when the headache began to come back. So with a heat pack and a brief nap, along with Aleve and Tylenol I managed to survive work.

Grabbed a warm meal from Wendy's afterwards to get something more substantial into my system and took a two hour nap when I got home.

The headache is still present, but at least it's in the faint stages currently so I can function again.

We'll see if it sticks around for tomorrow.

Wednesday, October 16, 2019

To switch things up I ended up with a headache behind my left eye today.
It started up towards the last hour of work and got worse after I tried to take a nap to make it go away. *exhales* At least it's behind the left, but yah, it's not getting better hopefully it doesn't get worse.

Tuesday, October 15, 2019

Had a headache that started this morning, pretty soon after I put in my contact which probably means there's something about the lens irritating my eye. In any case it was also tension in the muscles as well as my shoulder area is still rather tense and sore.
Despite taking a variety of meds in an attempt to soothe it while at work, I couldn't make it fully go away, especially not when I was under a bit of stress trying to get tasks set to me by the head manager done.
I ended up taking a shower and like a two hour nap with a heatpack over my eyes and on my shoulder that helped it to mostly fade away so yay that! ^^;;

Monday, October 14, 2019

Ended up with a headache towards the end of work today. Not quite sure why but it's in the usual spot starting between shoulder blade and spine on the right side and climbing up my neck to rest behind my right eye. Maybe my contact is irritating me, or attempting to write tensed me up or trying to take a nap also tensed me up....in any case I'm tense and the ache won't fade.

Thursday, October 10, 2019

Brain: *Has all the ideas until I get home*
Me: *chipping away at writing* Why can't you be more creative when we actually have the time to write?
Brain: *shrugs*

Wednesday, October 9, 2019

Have a slight headache coming behind the right eye currently.
Not sure why it decided to visit now.
Probably tensed myself up somehow.
Gonna go grab some meds and try and get it to go away.

Tuesday, October 8, 2019

I ended up with a headache behind my right eye during the middle of my lunch break at work today.
Not sure why it started there, but it persisted despite me taking Excedrin and grabbing a Dr. Pepper. Tried to take a nap which helped a little but the headache has been coming and going throughout the day despite my efforts of heat, shower, and more meds to make it go away.

Monday, October 7, 2019

Ended up with a headache behind my left eye after work today.
I'm thinking it's just an after effect of the spiritual high of yesterday but probably also from stress and not eating much.
The headache was helped a little after I grabbed food...but I'm heading to bed early in hopes of helping it fully vanish as meds, caffeine and heat packs didn't help it.

Sunday, October 6, 2019

Ended up with a headache behind my right eye today between sessions of Conference.
I think it's from waking up early to try and catch yesterday's afternoon session before today's morning session started.
I tried to take a nap between sessions but ended up chatting with a friend who needed to vent instead during the break so I didn't get as much rest and that probably tensed me up giving me the headache that is being rather...trying in going away.

Saturday, October 5, 2019

Ended up with a slight headache today, probably just from the stress of work and then trying to catch up on General Conference afterwards.

Friday, October 4, 2019

Brain: We're going to write all the stories today!!
Me: Writes one chapter of one story.
Brain: *sobbing* Why didn't we write all the things!!!
Me: ....Cus writing is hard?

Thursday, October 3, 2019

Been fighting a slight headache off and on today.
Pretty sure it's just a tension one though the ache in my head has moved from behind the left eye to the right eye.
I'm hoping that it will stay faint and not get worse, but if I keep getting bombarded with stress inducing things...I'm not certain it will stay faint for long.

Wednesday, October 2, 2019

Ended up with a slight headache at work today, possibly triggered by the fire alarm that beeped incessantly for the first couple of hours at work and my manager was stressing over that.
Then I was dealing with both loud and energetic coworkers today while I was trying to conserve energy...so yah slight headache behind the left eye today due to tension.

Tuesday, October 1, 2019

I bit down into the garlic bread, chewing slowly as I watched the Vampire pace back and forth in front of me.
He made a face, nose wrinkling as I took another bite. "Do you have to eat that in front of me?"
I swallowed and nodded. "Yes."
"Typical." He tsked, turning away.
"Better to be safe--"
"Than sorry. I know. I still don't like it."
I shrugged a shoulder, sitting back in my chair. "Well, it's not every day that I run into a vampire. I'm going to take precautions."

-Inspiration from Eating Garlic Bread

Monday, September 30, 2019

Brain: Ignores all the previous story ideas I need to be working on.
Me: How about we work on one of our wips?
Brain: No! New idea! Let's work on this new idea!
Me: But--
Brain: We can finish it quickly! I promise. :D
Me: .....seriously?
Brain: *nods*
Me: *looks to all our Wips* Somehow...I don't believe you.

Sunday, September 29, 2019

Had a brief headache this morning. I think it was mostly from not having breakfast right away...that and again the muscle between my spine and shoulder on the right side tensed up...so putting some heat on that and eating some food helped to make it fade. Woot!

Saturday, September 28, 2019

Ended up with a slight headache this evening.
Probably from tension and not enough food as making some dinner and eating it has helped it to already fade.

Note to self. When in doubt. Eat food. It seems to help more often than not.

Friday, September 27, 2019

Had a bit of a headache this morning/afternoon behind my left eye and then my right. Pretty sure it was connected with being hungry as eating food seemed to have helped that out. But also just from tension by my right shoulder blade again. Once I got that worked out the headache faded away pretty quickly.

Thursday, September 26, 2019

Ended up with a major headache behind the eyes today which is frustrating after spending the last three days feeling sick. Like surely I should get at least one full day where my body feels completely healthy before the headaches come back. XP

Saturday, September 21, 2019

Me: I should write in this fandom I haven't touched in 2 years.
Brain: But what about your current wips!
Me: Some of those are from the fandom I haven't touched in 2 years.
Brain: Oh....but the other fandom?!
Me: Can wait.
Brain: Okay...I understand....but how about instead of writing in either one.....we write in none.
Me: WHAT?!
Brain: *peace sign*

Friday, September 20, 2019

Have a slight headache behind my right eye currently.
Probably tension related again as I did go to the gem faire and that sort of situation always makes me tense. There's so many people and so much energy.
And my muscles get tense
So I'm not surprised I have a slight headache behind the eye.
Hopefully it doesn't get worse though.

Thursday, September 19, 2019

Brain: *still fuming over an incident that I had no control over.*
Me: You know...we could let it go....
Brain: NO! I am gonna use this as fuel to write a STORY just you wait!
Me: ...... *exhales*

Wednesday, September 18, 2019

Ended up with a headache behind my right eye today again.
I'm pretty sure it is from tension in the muscles in my back as those were aching before the area behind my eye began to ache.
It's probably from stress....as I didn't get restful sleep last night due to being startled awake in the middle of the night. *exhales*
Then stress at work probably exacerbated it as well.

Tuesday, September 17, 2019

Brain: Has 12 ideas throughout the day.
Me: Okay let's try working one of those.
Brain: We can write them all!
Me: No...how about one.
Brain: ALL!
Me: *gets home from work*
Brain:......what story ideas? I don't know what you're talking about.

Monday, September 16, 2019

Headache has made itself known behind my right eye again. *exhales*
I halfway think it's from tension as the space between my shoulder and spine is sore and that's gone up to my neck tensing up those muscles there and up to rest behind my eye.
It may partially be due to the stronger contact lens I'm wearing in that eye too...
But I'm more inclined to think it was tension as I came into work today to find just me and the manager and that we possibly wouldn't have a third person in until like 11am which is rather stressful news to find out first thing in the morning.
Plus manager surprised me with a 'we gotta deep clean everything this month' sort of paperpacket for our back rooms.
So yah.
Stress. Probably stress.

Have taken excedrin and aleve...it's helped a little but the headache keeps coming back.

Sunday, September 15, 2019

She hunched her shoulders, keeping her head down as she scrolled through the various apps on her phone, conscious of the consistent breaths of air that puffed against her arm that indicated the guy next to her was still staring in her direction.
Was he watching the phone?
Staring at her?
Just happening to be breathing in her direction?
She didn't know.
But she didn't like it.
A glance to the top of the screen showed she only had to survive a few more minutes.
A few more minutes of pretending she didn't notice the guy staring her way, breathing her way, being too close in his seat next to hers.
Just a little longer.
And she'll be able to get out and away from him.

-Inspiration from sitting in Church

Saturday, September 14, 2019

It was tension between my right shoulder blade and spine in the muscle there was causing my head to ache. Probably just reacting to the stress of the managers emanating from them because we had corporate dropping by to visit today to check out our adoption event and they were stressing out over making sure it looked good.
But taking some Excedrin and resting with a heatpack on my break seems to have helped it.
Though now the medicine has worn off...so more Excedrin has just been taken and hopefully it will help the resurgence of the headache to die away again.

Friday, September 13, 2019

I need to stop waking up super early in the morning and then falling back asleep to sleep in rather late on my days off as it seems to cause a headache to form more often than not. *exhales*
Woke up with one pounding away behind my left eye today.
Which is different from being behind my right eye.
But is still rather annoying in either case.
Not quite sure what to do to get rid of it either as the day is early yet, but I have tried taking an Aleve and a shower and have heat packs currently on my neck, so we'll see if that helps or not....

Thursday, September 12, 2019

I'm pretty sure my headache started today because I let an unexpected text get to me.
Like. I shouldn't have let it mean so much really. It's just a simple reminder text from the roomies about the garage, but like the whole situation just...got under my skin.
And tensed up my muscles.
And gave me a slight headache that ended up starting behind my left eye, but after taking a nap and such it's now spread to a dull ache in my forehead. *exhales*
Trying to relax my muscles by a heatpack and some Aleve. Also drank some more water and ate more food.
As well as took out my contacts because they probably are part of the issue as well. *exhales*
So we'll see if all that will help it to fade away.

Wednesday, September 11, 2019

Ended up with a slight headache behind my right eye again today.
Tried to head it off by taking Excedrin at work, which helped a bit but the headache was still present behind my right eye when I got home.
Probably because I was subconsciously stressing about things or something.
But adding in a bit of Advil and a heat pack seems to have helped it go away.
So yay!

Tuesday, September 10, 2019

Note to self. Stop taking naps after work as I tend to get a headache behind my right eye when I do which means a) I'm not sleeping the right amount or b) I'm sleeping tense and in either case...it's not good. So dear self. Less naps.

Monday, September 9, 2019

For a change of pace, the headache has moved to take up residence behind my left eye today.
The muscles in my neck there are stiff.
And I'm guessing it's partially from sleeping, as I took a nap after work and the headache only came after that.
But the tension of work, and the tension of stressors from the night before probably are a factor.
*exhales*

However the main cause may be from my contacts giving me problems.
As my right eye isn't seeing as well as it should be even with the contact in.
Which could either be from stress....
Or my right eye has decided it actually wants the stronger prescription.

As like a year ago I increased my prescription in my right eye, only to decrease it like four months ago because I was getting too many headaches and was feeling strain...but now the right eye doesn't seem to be liking the weaker prescription...so we're going to try increasing the prescription again in the right eye.
*fingers crossed* that the shift in prescription will help decrease the headaches and help the right eye take on more of the work load.

Sunday, September 8, 2019

Woke up with a major headache this morning, that I'm pretty sure was caused from sleeping too long as I slept in far later than I meant to today.
But it persisted throughout the day and got worse when I had to put my contacts in so I could actually leave the house.
But with some excedrin and a long drive up to visit family...the headache did fade and is almost gone currently so yay.

Saturday, September 7, 2019

Ended up with another headache today behind my right eye.
Wasn't that surprised though because
a) Didn't get enough sleep
b) Had a long drive that was slightly stressful
c) Spent some unwelcome time in the heat.
d) Spent far too long surrounded by toooo many people who would stand too close to me and that would tense me up.
e) Noise. So much noise
f) probably didn't drink enough liquids today
g) also probably didn't eat enough.

And yah. That's the main list right there as to why I have a headache.
It's managed to fade out a bit now that I've eaten food, drunk liquids, took a nap and a shower.....

But yah.
So much headache. Bleh.

Friday, September 6, 2019

Faint Headache today.
Stress. Mostly Stress.
Usually happens when I go to places with a ton of people.
So much energy.
So many people.

Me: So we should write the ending now, right?
Brain: ???
Me: You know...finish the fic?
Brain: ???
Me: Finish?
Brain: But....how?

Wednesday, September 4, 2019

Ended up with a slight headache after work today, once again behind my right eye.
It came on after taking a short nap....so I'm guessing it was resting in the wrong position or for the wrong amount of time or waking up at the wrong moment....
It stuck around for a lot of the evening, but some heat on the shoulder seems to have helped it a little bit.

Tuesday, September 3, 2019

Had a headache for most of today. Which is...antagonizing when you're trying to work and be social and friendly with customers.
I'm pretty sure it was from muscle tension because the area between spine and right shoulder blade has been aching something fierce most of the day and meds haven't been helping.
Took Advil and Excedrin and grabbed a Dr. Pepper, had heat packs and took brief naps at work.
Nothing.

The ache behind my right eye just continued on and on and on and on and on. Sometimes getting worse sometimes getting better but always present.

I ended up grabbing Wendy's after work adding in a small hamburger to my usual order and once I got home I took out my contacts and took another nap....

And somewhere in there it seems to have helped the headache fade more than it's done all day.
So that's good.
Still don't trust it's not going to come back, so right now just taking it easy, hanging out in my room in the semi-darkness and another heatpack over my shoulder to try and keep the muscles there relaxed.

Monday, September 2, 2019

Ended up wtih a slight headache behind my right eye today after getting home from work.
I think it was just from being tired and maybe slightly stressed from dealing with the holiday rush at work and some work related stressors there.
But it seems like taking a nap and eating a bit of food has helped it mellow out.
So yay mellow headache day.

Sunday, September 1, 2019

The Migraine did indeed go Nuclear.
Making it difficult to have any restful rest.
Kept up the heatpacks and Tylenol and ended up taking like a half hour shower at like 4am this morning to try and get the muscles relaxed and the headache gone.
Helped a little.
Not much.
As it seemed like it gets worse whenever I stand up. XP
Ended up camping out in the family room on the couch, listening to various movies on Netflix as I drifted in and out of sleep.

Ended up taking an Excedrin and what do you know...it seems this time around THATS the medication that will help this nuclear Migraine go away as the ache has decreased to being barely noticeable at this point in time.

Still taking it easy, hanging out on the couch, (and probably shouldn't be on the computer blogging, but I'm tired of doing 'nothing' so here we are.)
But yah. Not going to do anything too crazy today as I don't want to end up with the headache coming back.

Though knowing how these nuclear headaches go...It's probably going to happen regardless of what I do.

Saturday, August 31, 2019

Ended up with a Migraine today towards the end of my work shift.
Well, it had the faintest of beginnings towards the end of my lunch break around noon, but it got steadily worse as the remainder of my shift progressed.
Oddly enough, it was behind the left eye today which is different than the more usual behind the right eye sort of headache.

I tried to keep it at bay by taking Aleve and Tylenol and a nap and had a heatpack while at work.
It helped a tiny bit, but not much.
But at least it faded enough for me to be able to manage through the remaining portion of my shift.

I came home and took another med...not sure which one..the Aleve may have worn off by that point so I took Advil to see if it would help, and later more Tylenol and once the Advil was through my system more Aleve.
Took a shower too to try and relax my muscles.
Took a nap to see if it would help.
Well...ended up practically sleeping throughout most of the day really.
And the headache is still present.
So it looks like it's going to go Nuclear and make me suffer for the rest of the night.
*exhales*

Dear Migraine.
WHY?

Friday, August 30, 2019

Woke up with my headache from yesterday still present.
Which is rather irritating because it makes it difficult to want to do anything when I have this faint ache pounding behind my right eye. Bleh.
Nothing seemed to be helping it either.
Tried Tylenol and Excedrin.
Heat packs.
A Hot Shower.
Liquids, Food.
Nothing.
But I've been organizing my room a bit and I guess that helped a little bit to work out the tension in my muscles as it's not as present now. So yay for that.

Thursday, August 29, 2019

Ended up with a headache this evening. Not quite sure why it started up behind my right eye but it was probably tension over something. Maybe it was from attempting to write but not writing....

Wednesday, August 28, 2019

It was all around me, even with my eyes closed it seemed like all I could see were those red burning flames of fire.
Fire.
FIRE.
I couldn't escape it.
No matter where in the country I ventured, drought seemed to soon follow and with the drought....came the fires.
The skies filled with smoke.
The land burned.
And everywhere I turned, were those fires.

-Inspiration from multiple fires near my home.

Me: Oh yes, I can take all of these writing prompts and write short little oneshots for each one.
Brain: *takes each one and expands them all into multi-chaptered fics*

Me: -_- …okay I knew this was a possibility…but WHY are you like this?

Brain: ^^;; You know you love it!

Monday, August 26, 2019

Another day another headache in the morning just from coworker and work stress. *exhales* Hopefully some sleep helps.

Sunday, August 25, 2019

Ended up with a headache this evening. I think just from stress of trying to write and read and well...please people. But Hopefully some sleep and some heat on my neck will help it go away. Took some Tylenol and a shower but they've only dulled the ache for the moment.

Saturday, August 24, 2019

Ended up with a headache behind my right eye this morning pretty quickly after I came into work because I encountered some notes left by coworkers the night before that I didn't quite understand the point of. Because my coworkers said that the cats were 'very sick' and they appeared to be fine, and also that two of our animals in the store had been 'put on hold' when we're not supposed to put animals on hold.
So yah. Irritation this morning caused a headache, but also the stress building in the store due to issues in the grooming department didn't help.
But thankfully taking a Tylenol and Aleve helped the headache to disappear. So I didn't have to deal with it too long.

Friday, August 23, 2019

Woke up this morning with the same headache I went to bed with which wasn't fun, but thankfully a shower and some heat on my shoulders helped it to go away.

Thursday, August 22, 2019

I have a slight headache behind my eyes currently.
I think it may be from taking like a two hour nap when i got home today as I haven't done that in a long while.
But probably waking up too quickly after said nap and going adventuring about town right after....

So tense muscles are probably a cause too...
Though at least it's a minor ache.

Wednesday, August 21, 2019

Ended up with a headache this morning.
I think it's mostly from tense muscles as my right shoulder up to that side of the neck is aching.
But I'm not sure if it's just from sleep issues, or waking up at the wrong moment...
There was slight stress at work that made the headache slightly worse.
But getting some PastTense, Excedrin, a heatpack and a Dr. Pepper has helped it fade a bit.

So we'll see.

Tuesday, August 20, 2019

I've been fighting to keep a headache at bay most of the day because I woke up to a comment from a reader that just...tensed me up. Irritated me first thing in the morning and when I get irritated...it's hard to keep a nice mellow relaxed mood after that point.
So it's been hit and miss. I feel the twinges of one beginning and take actions to get rid of it...which it does only for it to again twinge a bit later again trying to come back.

Monday, August 19, 2019

Me: We finished the story!
Brain: WE DID!
Me: This is amazing!
Brain: It is!
Me: ^^;;
Brain: ....
Me: >_>
Brain: So....new idea? Wanna work on that?

Sunday, August 18, 2019

Ended up with a headache behind my left eye this evening.
Not quite sure why or how.
Probably stressing over writing and not eating enough or something like that.
So far Excedrin hasn't helped it nor heatpacks so at this point....I'm guessing I'll just have to head to bed soon and hope it doesn't stay when I wake up in the morning.

Saturday, August 17, 2019

Me: As soon as I get home I'm going to write all the ideas!
Work: *Gets crazy busy and hectic*
Me: *arrives home*
Me: *crashes*
Me: *doesn't write*

Friday, August 16, 2019

I slammed the book shut, tossing it halfway across the room with a snarl on my lips. "That's just stupid!" How could the author have ever thought that it was a good--gah! I fell back on my bed, pulling my pillow over my head so I wouldn't have to see the cover of the book containing such a weak uninteresting plot. Why I had ever thought the book would be a good read, I had no idea.
But I was really regretting choosing to read it today.
With a groan I rolled, turning my back to the offending object.
Hopefully the next book I picked up would be better.
But with how many paperbacks had been tossed onto the floor around my room...my hope was small indeed.

Thursday, August 15, 2019

He kept his head down, taking orders as quickly as he could, not wanting to look up because he knew. He Knew that the line was out the door that he was taking too long. But there was only so much he could do when he was expected to be three people at once.
Taking orders was easy.
Setting the food on the tray easy.
But trying to do that and half a dozen other tasks as customers kept coming up with more needs and requirements of him...made it difficult.
He silently flinches as yet another person leaves the line, headed to find food elsewhere.
If only...if only he had backup.
But a glance into the back shows his coworkers, those he can see at least, busy with the drive thru and the cooking for the food.
No one could help him.
No one could come get a second register open.
He exhales, turning to the next customer, hoping yet not believing that this would mean the end of the rush hour line.

Me: *has plan to write*
Life: *detour*
Me: *takes detour*
Hours later
Me: Oh....I wanted to write.....

Tuesday, August 13, 2019

I've had a headache basically since I woke up today because my neck is still tense. Tense enough I almost thought that I'd cricked it when I woke up this morning. *exhales* It got worse when I put in my contacts. The area behind my right eye throbbing off and on throughout the day. Getting worse getting better getting worse getting better.
Been doing what I can to keep it at bay.
But with how tense my muscles are.
And how stressed work is...
I doubt it's going to go well for me.
Though taking out my contacts seems to have helped a lot. So yay for that.

Monday, August 12, 2019

I ended up with a headache after work today.
I think because I tensed myself out trying to get a chapter posted for the story I'm working on as I needed to do a bit of editing/tweaking before I posted it and I think the stress of getting that done and uploaded before I needed to go help a friend move caused the headache to come throb behind my right eye. XP
It stuck around for the rest of the evening unfortunately. It would fade in and out...but over all it stuck around, I think because the muscles in my neck were so tense.

Sunday, August 11, 2019

Me: Okay let's finish this idea first and then we can work on a diff--
Brain: Look what I did! *holds up five new story ideas*
Me: ......

Saturday, August 10, 2019

Ended up with a headache today after work.
I think it began from just being bored at work, there weren't that many people around to help and my mind tends to stress out if I have nothing to keep me busy for hours on end.
But then there was also the stress of trying to post a story and being tired and probably not eating enough and....who knows what other stressors---mostly I'm beginning to think that Saturdays are going to be like Fast Sundays and I'll just end up with a headache after work regardless of what I do. *exhales* I hope that's not the case but it feels like it has been for the past little while.

Friday, August 9, 2019

I knelt, moving as quickly as I could to gather up all the odds and ends scattered about the floor of the bedroom. The sooner I could get everything out of here, the sooner I would be able to finally be free of the dark cloud hanging over my head knowing that expectations were high, that people were wanting this room ready.
Within minutes it was done.
So quickly.
So very quickly.
How had it not been completed by others before now, I had no idea, but at least now it was done.

Inspiration from helping to clean a room.

Thursday, August 8, 2019

Frustrations at work had my neck and shoulders getting tense today.
To the point where if I didn't act quickly I would end up with another headache because I was annoyed and being more sensitive to sounds today and there was an annoying barking dog that barked for like two hours straight if not longer. Bleh.

But I took an Excedrin and put some PastTense on the back of my neck to help relax the muscles there.

It helped. A lot.

Though trying to write and publish a chapter and that got my shoulders tense. *exhales* Trying to keep myself relaxed.

Wednesday, August 7, 2019

Ended up with a slight headache at work today.
It started behind my left eye because I was stressing over a situation with a guinea pig, but that ended up fading once I took a nap on my break and had a heat pack over my eye.

But then the headache went over to the right side behind that eye as the morning progressed. I think because I could hear a faint...humming singing sound from somewhere nearby.
And it was just faint enough like the faint buzzing of a fly or something that if you weren't paying attention you probably wouldn't realize it was there. But I could sense it...this faint humming.

I ended up going to investigate.
Couldn't really find it...I did encounter a customer at the birds talking to the conure and she hadn't moved from him in sometime....so she could have been the source as after she left...I didn't actively hear the humming anymore.

In any case.
I ended up getting some of my PastTense Essential Oil and placing it on my tense muscles, took an Excedrin, and grabbed some crackers to snack on to hopefully help it fade.

Which it did. Yay.

Hopefully it stays away.

Tuesday, August 6, 2019

I frowned, tapping my fingers against the steering wheel as I watched the gentleman put yet another debit card into the ATM machine. That had to have been like the fourth one in a row, what was the dude doing? Stealing someone's identity? Stealing all their money?
I shook my head, resisting the urge to lay on the horn because I needed to withdraw some cash too and this guy was taking for and ever.
No. It couldn't be...there were other people in the car. Maybe he was using all their cards too...loading up...the guy was from california after all....
But at the same time....I couldn't help but wonder....

-Inspiration from trying to use the ATM today

Monday, August 5, 2019

Got a headache at work today.
Possibly from just dealing with too much conversation over the radios?
Not sure.
I did what I could to get rid of it.
But the headache is sticking around.
Again behind the right eye.
Again because the muscles in my neck are tensed up.
Tried some meds
And some heat.
They helped a bit.
But the headache is just in that come and go sort of stage where it gets stronger and weaker and stronger and weaker.
*exhales*
So annoying

Sunday, August 4, 2019

I'd tried so hard to avoid getting a headache today.
I even forwent fasting for fast Sunday to avoid getting the typical headache that I usually get after fast sunday.
Took all the precautions.
As driving up and down from seeing family can also tense me up and cause a headache from traffic and such.
So I did all I could to avoid the headache.

So it's rather frustrating that I ended up with one anyways.

*exhales*

It was while I was sitting with my Daddoo that the headache struck.

I think it was because he'd fallen asleep and was breathing heavily onto me.
Like maybe it was just....that I didn't like the energy being sent my way with each and every breath?
Idk.
But my right shoulder/arm/side of the neck tensed up.
Which meant an ache formed behind my right eye.

I managed to get rid of it. A hot shower, a heat pack resting over my eye and a short nap...seemed to have helped at least.

Saturday, August 3, 2019

I was doing pretty good today, avoiding getting a headache.

Had the beginnings of one this morning, but I took an Excedrin to help get rid of it.
Could feel the tension coming back into my shoulders as I got off work, and so I took another Excedrin to keep it at bay for a few more hours.
But now that I'm home....
The stress of all these writing prompts I have....is tensing me up I guess.
My right shoulder is tense....probably because I went pokemon hunting and held my arm in an awkward position for like two hours straight. So the arm probably aches from that, and the ache has gone up into my neck and is trying to settle behind my right eye. I've taken some Tylenol now to see if that helps, and placed heat on the sore area....

But idk if this faint headache will stick around or not....bu thopefully it leaves sooner and if not sooner, once I head for bed.

Friday, August 2, 2019

I was right in thinking that sleep wouldn't help my headache from last night go away.
I ended up heading to bed early last night to try and force my aching head to behave....
To no availe.
It kept waking me up throughout the night, but thankfully wasn't in the nuclear levels.
Still, it wasn't until the sun had risen and I'd taken an Excedrin and gotten myself a heat pack on my left eye and distracted with projects that the headache finally left my aching head.

*exhales* Took most of the morning though. But thankfully I seem to be free of it for now.

Thursday, August 1, 2019

Ended up with another headache today.
I think it was triggered by how often people were squeaking squeaky toys today at work.
Like it felt like it was an almost consistent thing today.
And the repetitive noise got on my nerves and tense up my neck....
And like it's probably sleep deprivation too as there's an ache behind my eyes that is probably from not getting enough sleep.
But it's to the point where I'm like halfway certain that trying to take a nap will only make this worse....
*exhales*
So we'll see. See if this headache sticks around or not.

Wednesday, July 31, 2019

Me: At work.
Brain: *happily chugging along suggesting a hundred different story ideas*
Me: At home.
Brain: *groans* Blebblebbleb whawerds? weez donts knows werds. Soo sleeeeeeeeeppppyyyyy.
Me: *exhales*

Tuesday, July 30, 2019

Been dealing with a slight headache today.
First it was behind my eyes and is probably just a sleep deprivation headache as it usually gets better whenever I rest my eyes for a bit...and would probably entirely go away if I would actually get more sleep.
Though it's moved towards the back of my head towards my neck so I'm guessing I've tensed myself out again and therefore...need to relax and maybe drink more water.

Monday, July 29, 2019

Basically woke up with the headache I went to bed with last night. So that wasn't fun at all. *exhales*
It got worse when I put in my contacts. The ache behind my right eye got stronger.
Tylenol didn't help.
So I ended up taking an Excedrin and using some PastTense Essential Oils on my neck to try and get the muscles to relaxed.
It helped as the headache faded within the hour. So yay.

Sunday, July 28, 2019

Ended up with a headache this afternoon. I think mostly from multitasking between my computer and trying to read a book. So mostly my own doing there. But at least I finished the book and got most of the multi-tasking done. ^^;; Hopefully sleep helps it to go away.

Saturday, July 27, 2019

Ended up with a slight headache behind/above the eyes today, I think mostly from exhaustion as I didn't get enough restful sleep and had alot of down time where I was trying to stay busy. But a little bit of rest and a bigger dinner that was more filling seems to have made it go away, though I probably need to go to bed a little earlier tonight to make sure I get enough sleep.

Thursday, July 25, 2019

Ended up with a headache this evening behind my right eye.
I think it's more from lack of sleep as my mind was more awake last night so I didn't get enough rest. So the headache is probably from the start of that, but also probably still from tension. *exhales* Yay tension in the neck. Idk what I'll do if my muscles ever fully relax.
