It's been another week and a half of nearly daily migraines. XP Which is not fun. Especially over Christmas.

The one I had from Dec 23-Dec 25th was probably more hormonal related as the migraine took up residence behind my left eye instead of it's usual spot behind my right.

I may have accidentally ended up burning part of my neck after taking two very long hot showers in the same night on December 23rd as the spot was sore and the skin feels scaley to the touch. So weeee. Fun times that.

Overall though....nothing seemed to really help make the migraine go away. Meds failed, showers failed, soda failed....

With the continuation of the headache moving to behind my right eye I may try switching out my contacts to see if that helps at all....

Thursday, December 17, 2020

I've had a migraine behind my right eye for the last twoish...maybe threeish days now. I do know that part of it is caused by my muscles in my shoulder/neck because that area has been sore since like...Friday.

I can't tell if it's a sore from over working my muscles, or from them just being tense in general, or if they relaxed and that's why they're sore....though the 'relaxing' part only seemed to have happened this morning where the area i usually massage was not as 'rock hard' as normal. But that was after I doubled down and took 2 excedrin instead of my usual one to try and break the stupid migraine.

Part of it may also be my contacts?? as yesterday and today I didn't start feeling the headache until after I put in my right contact...so it may be that 'time of year' where my eyes decide that they don't like their current prescription and want to downgrade/upgrade.

But considering I've been able to keep my contacts in today after taking the double excedrin dose and drinking Dr. pepper throughout the day.

It may be just tense muscles once again causing me pain.

At least my right shoulder seems to have finally relaxed...though now my left one is acting up. *exhales* Hopefully I can keep it from causing a migraine behind my left eye from forming but only time will tell.

Monday, December 14, 2020

Woke up with the slight headache behind my right eye that I kinda expected to have considering how tense the muscles in my shoulder and neck had gotten by the time I went to bed.

*exhales* Unfortunately sleep didn't help it to go away. And taking Excedrin and drinking Mountain Dew only helped so much to keep the migraine from being detrimental as it lingered for most of the day at work. I've been keeping heat on the shoulder and even took a shower to see if that would help relax my muscles. It's helped a bit. The headache is gone even if the achiness in my shoulder remains...well achy.

Saturday, December 12, 2020

Had a slight headache form early this morning at work.

Mostly a) from noise sensitivity as we had a couple of high pitched barking dogs early this morning and one of my managers was speaking rather loudly into the radio which can be rather jarring.

And b) we had our dog trainer call out today because they have a fever going...which can be a sign of the virus...and I was slightly stressing over that because I had briefly interacted with them yesterday when they dropped by to grab dog food. But it was only for a minute or two and we were both wearing masks....so hopefully I'm safe still. :S

But yah...just early morning stress. Excedrin seems to have mostly helped it though.

Thursday, December 10, 2020

I've had a couple of minor headaches occur over the past few days. I'm thinking most of it is just the typical stress related work things as I'm dealing with customers and tasks and such, though some of it may also be a bit of eye strain as towards the end of my shift I can feel my eye aching a bit. So it may be just the contact is causing some issues as well....

Saturday, December 5, 2020

I have another headache forming behind my right eye again.

I'm guessing it's for the same reason as last night. Eye strain from my contacts. Though with how tense my shoulder also feels it could also be tension related. Or even lack of food/water related as I haven't been eating as well today as I did yesterday though I've gone and grabbed some soup and something to drink. So hopefully that helps my headache to fade.
I'll probably end up taking my contacts out soon as well. Though we'll see how the Excedrin I also took affects the headache first.

Friday, December 4, 2020

Ended up with a headache behind my right eye this evening. I'm guessing it's mostly due to eye strain from staring at a computer screen most of the day as once I took out my contacts the headache faded pretty quickly after that point.

Tuesday, December 1, 2020

Okay. I caused my headache today.

I got a bit too...idk stressed out? Overwhelmed? With indecision and a need to make things 'perfect' that I ended up tensing out my neck muscles and created a headache behind my right eye.

I was able to mostly make it go away by taking a hot shower and taking out my contacts.

But yah. I overwhelmed myself trying to figure out just how to make everything even when it came to giving my family gifts and filling their stockings with things.

*exhales*

Sunday, November 29, 2020

Sooo I've had a headache or migraine practically everyday for the past week and a half. *exhales*

Do I know why? No, not really.

With how sore my shoulders have been, I do have to wonder if some of it is from tension. Whether because my muscles are staying tense besides constantly taking Excedrin or Tylenol to try and keep the headache at bay, or if it's because I'm finally getting my muscles to relax and that's causing headaches cus my body isn't used to it.

I don't quite think it's sleep related as I've been getting at least seven hours most of the time.

Possibly it's diet...like not eating enough 'real meals' or drinking enough liquids?

I nearly thought I solved it when I switched to new contacts yesterday as I couldn't remember if I switched to a new pair of contacts at the beginning of the month or not. And I do know that if I've had my contacts too long I can be prone to more headaches...

Well it only seemed to work for Yesterday.

It could be relation to work stress. To family stress. To traveling stress. To peopleing stress since this past week has been a holiday week....

Who knows at this point.

Today's may have been caused by getting on the computer too early in the morning.

*exhales*

I really wish I could figure out the major trigger though. I was doing better earlier this year with keeping these headaches at bay. So to go to having one practically every day again....is disappointing.

Tuesday, November 17, 2020

Woke up to another headache behind my right eye today. XP Not. Good. Perhaps I'm sleeping too tense or something...or sleeping the wrong amount of time. *exhales* In any case, I ended up taking a couple of Excedrin and resting with my eyes closed before I had to go into work.

While the migraine lingered for most of my shift, an additional dose of Tylenol helped it to stay faint and fade away by the time I got off work. Which is a relief because I did not want to have to deal with a headache my entire shift on my first day back to work. *shakes head*

Monday, November 16, 2020

I had a headache behind my right eye for most of the day today. Not sure what the reason for it was....I'm guessing it was stress from trying to write and staring at a computer screen all day....but it could probably be other factors as well....though I did try to eat and drink and get the right amount of sleep.

Regardless there was an ache in the right side of my neck that contributed to the headache...and considering I woke up basically with it...*exhales* who knows. Maybe I'm just stressing about going back to work tomorrow.....

Sunday, November 15, 2020

Surprisingly the headache behind my left eye vanished around 3 am this morning. Which was a relief. Though it left me wide away since I'd been sleeping off and on since around 7pm the night before.

I've been taking it easy but I can feel the muscles in the right side of my neck tensing up and causing a slight ache to form behind my right eye now. Hopefully I can keep it at bay but we'll see.

Saturday, November 14, 2020

Ended up with a migraine behind my left eye tonight.

I kinda expected it to happen as I woke up with a faint ache behind my eyes that I tried to get rid of by taking some Excedrin and later Tylenol. But as the evening wore on and the ache behind my eyes returned...I figured I was basically already at the point of being between a rock and a hard place.

As usually an ache behind the eyes means I need more sleep.

But at this stage I was certain that if I slept...I would end up with a migraine....and if I didn't sleep...I would end up with a migraine. *exhales*

So I took more Excedrin and a hot shower before trying to rest my eyes while listening to a movie.

The ache behind my left eye set in at some point around then....I used heat packs and drank water and basically just rested with my eyes closed for the rest of the evening.

But yah...hopefully it doesn't last the entire night. I'm not hopeful of it leaving early though.

Friday, November 6, 2020

I ended up with a headache behind my right eye for most of the day today, which seems to be a typical occurence on my days off.

I'm guessing it's probably the stress of trying to write and focusing on a computer screen as well as multitasking by listening to other things.

So yah. Not quite so surprised I ended up with the headache today. Hopefully it doesn't last through the night and I can sleep well.

Sunday, November 1, 2020

Woke up with the migraine returned and pounding behind my left eye again. Gah.

I'm guessing I somehow slept tense enough to make the migraine return, or else I didn't have enough water/nutrients in my system to keep the headache at bay? *shrugs* Who knows.

I tried taking some advil and resting with a heatpack.

Also tried eating and getting some caffeine.

And eventually the headache vanished from behind my left eye...only to move over to pound behind my right eye.

Judging by the tension in my neck it was probably a stress headache induced by the stress of socializing when I wasn't in the mood to socialize.

Took some Excedrin and a shower to try and make it go away and it helped a little but there's still a faint ache behind my left eye. *exhales*

Saturday, October 31, 2020

I had a slight headache start late last night around midnight behind my left eye as I was trying to focus on finishing a story. Since it was getting worse I decided to call it a night and head for bed.

Unfortunately the headache turned into a nuclear migraine during the night and proceeded to wake me up every hour or so. I tried to take a 4 am shower, tried heat packs, coke, tylenol, sleep...nothing helped it.

And it got bad enough to the point where I ended up making friends with the toliet...so no fun.

The worst of it had faded by around 830 this morning so I did my best to go to work and try to keep the migraine at bay, but it steadily got worse as we neared the lunchtime hour and by the time the afternoon crowd came in, I was done for the day. I ended up coming home, warming up my heat pack again, popped a couple of advil and took a good hour nap.

It seems to have helped, especially after getting some real food into my stomach as well after surviving the morning on just crackers and granola bars.

Hopefully it stays away the rest of the night so I can enjoy Halloween...but we'll see.

Thursday, October 29, 2020

Woke up with the same headache I went to bed with last night. Bleh. At least it wasn't a major migraine or anything and I think that getting distracted helping people at work was the main cause to help it fade a bit though I did end up taking some Excedrin to try and keep it from getting worse.

Also probably grabbing some food after work might have helped it go away as I still had a faint ache behind my right eye when I got home, but it finally faded sometime after I'd eaten my food.

So yah. Maybe need to keep a better lookout on what I'm eating throughout the day as maybe not eating enough is affecting my head since I am doing better getting more sleep....

Wednesday, October 28, 2020

Ended up with a headache this afternoon, I'm guessing from spending too long trying to work on a story I've been trying to write...while also trying to multi-task as I was also watching shows and interacting with my roomies too.

Meds didn't seem to help, nor did heatpacks so I'm hoping that sleep will make it go away.

Tuesday, October 27, 2020

It may be a stress response but I have a slight headache already starting behind my right eye and I haven't even gone into work yet. *exhales* It may be stress from staring at my computer screen, or just preparing for having to do a closing shift as the closing manager again...who knows...hopefully being at work will distract me from my headache and it will go away on its own.

Monday, October 26, 2020

Ended up with a headache today after dealing with the stressful energies of multiple people in a row. But taking some excedrin and drinking Dr. Pepper helped it to go away. So yay that.

Wednesday, October 21, 2020

I've had a slight headache behind my right eye for most of the day it feels like. I'm pretty sure it was partially caused by my contact lens as taking it out did help to lessen the headache though it is still lingering. The rest of it was probably caused by being stressed/tense last night from being the only closing manager and my body probably sleeping tense despite efforts to relax before bed. I may have not slept the right amount of time either as I've been feeling tired most of the day which may also have contributed to the headache.

I'm hoping it's not one of those migraines that's gonna stay with me all night though it just may be one of those since Excedrin isn't helping the headache to go away.

Saturday, October 17, 2020

Ended up with a brief headache this morning...I'm not sure if it was again from sleeping in later than normal or staring at a computer screen first thing in the morning...or just needing sustenance....I'm guessing I needed food?

As eating breakfast, and drinking some mountain dew....and then just hanging out upstairs where it's lighter...has seemed to make it go away. So yay! Hopefully it doesn't come back.

Friday, October 16, 2020

Ended up with a headache behind my left eye today a couple of hours before heading into work.

Not sure if it's just...sleeping different hours...or staring at a computer screen earlier in the day....or just the stress building up knowing that I had to work an evening shift....but I had a headache behind my left eye for around half of my shift.

Thankfully it managed to go away though idk if meds and Dr. Pepper helped it or if I just got distracted enough to forget about the headache. But at least it was gone by the time I got off work so yay.

Wednesday, October 14, 2020

Ended up with a headache behind my left eye about an hour before I had to go work my evening shift. Tried to take a brief nap, eat a larger meal, and took some meds before heading to work. The headache persisted throughout my shift going through ups and downs with the intensity of the headache.

It got to the point where it felt like a sleep deprivation headache or an overheated headache as it moved to be a dull ache behind both eyes that was soothed a bit when I went outside to get carts and got some fresh cooler air into my lungs, but I also grabbed some excedrin as well to try and make it go away.

It managed to go away by the time I got home from work which was a relief.

Tuesday, October 13, 2020

Woke up with my whole body tense which is not a good sign for having a headache free day as most of my headaches are caused by having too tense of muscles.

Unfortunately...despite my efforts to negate a headache from starting by taking some Excedrin, drinking more liquids -water/mountaindew....the headache ended up forming behind my right eye. XP

I managed to make it decrease a bit by drinking pepsi insead and taking naps during my breaks with my heat pack on my shoulder.

But it was doing more of the roller coaster wave of pain today where it would get better then worse then better again. *exhales* I ended up coming home and taking a nap...which helped a little...but it looks like taking another shower finally has helped it go away...for now.

Monday, October 12, 2020

The migraine from last night did last into the early morning hours though I was able to get some sleep without getting woken up every hour after about 1 am. Still had a faint ache behind my left eye for most of the day though which was annoying when I was a work and was trying to focus on learning things....but at least it never got worse so that's good.

Sunday, October 11, 2020

Ended up with a migraine behind my left eye today...though I halfway think it started behind my right this morning when I woke up...but by the afternoon it had firmly settled behind my left eye despite taking Excedrin and drinking some Caffeine and having a heatpack on my shoulders to relax me...it didn't help. Which is not good when I had plans to socialize this evening...so it was kinda hard to do that with a migraine and once company was gone I ended up taking two showers over the course of the night to try and relax myself enough to sleep....didn't help...the migraine is probably in for the long haul. XP

Friday, October 9, 2020

Managed to avoid getting a major migraine last night as I noticed that my muscles were getting really tense and there was an ache behind my eyes from the potential of not having the right amount of sleep, so I ended up taking a Tylenol and when that didn't help I took an Excedrin despite the late hour and then jumped in the shower to let the heat beat on my muscles for a good twenty minutes before heading straight to bed and calling it a night early.

Grateful that I managed to avoid the migraine as I really didn't want to have to deal with it today.

Tuesday, October 6, 2020

Ended up with a headache at work today which is frustrating because it's my first day back after vacation, but not totally unexpected because it's my first day back after vaca and I usually end up spending a lot of it getting things back in order.

Thankfully taking an Excedrin helped to make the headache go away before it got more annoying so it wasn't too big of a deal. Pretty sure that helping customers also helped to distract me from the headache sooo yah.... fun times.

Saturday, October 3, 2020

There was tension in the right part of my neck this morning when I woke up that extended down into my shoulder. And because of that tension I had a bit of a headache behind my right eye...but I managed to distract myself from it as it ended up fading away after a while.

Friday, October 2, 2020

I think it was irritation from my contact lens as I ended up with a slight headache behind my right eye.

And after finally finding a moment to take out my contacts...the headache has significantly decreased, though it's still hovering around as having an irritation in my eye has tensed up my neck muscles and moved the tension down into my shoulder so until I can get the shoulder to relax...maybe with a shower or something, I expect I'll still have a bit of an ache behind my right eye.

Tuesday, September 29, 2020

Had a slight headache behind my right eye for most of today. I think it was just from focusing on trying to write all day, but who knows for sure.

Saturday, September 26, 2020

I was right in that the migraine would last into the early hours of the morning.

Thankfully it had mostly faded by the time I officially woke up, though I ended up taking an Excedrin not long after waking up when the muscles in my shoulder started to tense up again.

Mostly I've been keeping it pretty mellow today. Keeping a heatpack on my shoulder and drinking some Dr. Pepper consistently throughout the day since the caffeine seems to be helping currently.

Friday, September 25, 2020

I'm honestly not surprised to end up with a migraine today.

I've known that I've been running on fumes, basically staggering to the finish line where I will finally be able to take a long break from work.

So it makes sense that the exhaustion would hit me. That the stress of the day and just overall...tiredness with the whole pandemic scene would cause an ache to form behind my eyes.

One where it indicates that I need to get sleep. Desperately.

But also a faint ache behind the eyes that indicates that I'm already at the rock and a hard place point. Where if I take a nap...I'll end up with the migraine anyways. And if I don't...I'll still end up with the migraine.

I tried to take a nap anyways to help it go away.

It didn't quite work. Because my hearing got more sensitive than it's normal sensitivity soooo the various sounds throughout the house prevented me from relaxing throughly.

Meds weren't helping either, and my stomach was unsettled enough I couldn't eat much or drink much besides water.

A shower didn't help either.

So mostly it's been an evening spent trying to doze off and trying to not feel like I'm dying when I'm going through sudden hot flashes and cold spikes and my breathing is quick and shallow while my heart is pounding rapidly in my chest.

Yah....it's not fun and I expect it will last far into the night...hopefully it doesn't hang around in the morning.

Tuesday, September 22, 2020

Had a headache start up while at work, so I took some meds to try and get rid of it with soso results. Pretty sure it's just the stress of the managers and annoyance at customers that's causing it there.

Monday, September 21, 2020

I've had a slight headache switching back and forth between being behind my left eye and my right eye.

During work it was mostly hanging out behind my left eye, but when I got home from work, it switched to behind my right eye.

Not quite sure why.

Well...I'm pretty sure the headache at work was just me picking up on my manager's stress as we have a Regional Manager dropping by to visit on Thursday and the managers --one in particular who is known for stressing- are stressing about it and being a bit more...terse than usual. So yah...I did my best to try and keep said headache at bay with Advil/Tylenol and a heat pack/nap on my breaks. After my lunch break it mostly helped to go away.

The one behind my right eye that's currently pounding away may be from the tension and stress my roomies are giving off. As they're going through various stressors as well.

It may also be a need for sleep. As I haven't taken a nap yet and the stress of the day is probably getting to me. *exhales* I need more sleep I guess.

Maybe need to go take more meds.

We'll see.

Saturday, September 19, 2020

Had a bit of a headache forming behind my left eye today.

It's probably from work stress as I had to do a bit of training today for a new coworker and the store was busy.

So many people came into work today it felt nearly like Christmas Crazy and that's not good when we've had two days of over 1,000 cases diagnosed in the state.

So it was stressful seeing so many people coming into the store.

Hard to relax really.

Wednesday, September 16, 2020

Woke up with a migraine behind my right eye today.

I'm guessing I slept stressed...or tense...or well didn't let my muscles relax before I went to bed as I had been doing a bit of cleaning right before as I decided to clean my fish tank that I've been semi-neglecting for the past couple of months. Oops.

But that's at least squeaky clean.

What isn't 'squeaky clean' is definitely my headache.

I was a bit more limited in my usual methods of trying to chase it away, as Daddoo has recommended that I take Aleve morning and evening to try and help the tension in my muscles as the Tylenol and Excedrin and occasional Advil I have been using were only treating the 'surface tension' and so he wanted me to take Aleve for a week to get those muscles relaxed down.

Of course...this recommendation never lasts longer than like...two or three days (today is the third day) before a get a headache.

So I do wonder if my body doesn't like Aleve.....

In any case. Because I had taken Aleve I couldn't take Excedrin or Advil until after the Aleve wore off this evening. Leaving me to take a single tylenol and to rely on drinking caffeine (first Mountain Dew, then Coke) and having a heat pack on my shoulder/neck when I took my breaks at work and use those breaks for a nap.

It helped off and on. Kinda like a roller coaster with the ebb and flow of the migraine.

Thankfully, with me now able to finally take an Excedrin, it seems to be doing the trick to getting the migraine to go away.

So hopefully it behaves and I won't have to worry about having the migraine continue into tomorrow. We'll see.

Tuesday, September 15, 2020

I've had a slight headache trying to form behind my right eye again today.

Probably work related stress.

The stress of having to talk to customers about wearing masks when we have no masks currently to offer them if they don't have one themselves.

The stress of having our DM in the store.

Yah...the stress of customers in general....especially the ones with hordes of energetic children.

Yah....

Though drinking some Mountain Dew and taking a Tylenol has seemed to help keep it mostly at bay today so yay.

Thursday, September 10, 2020

I woke up with a migraine this morning.

I'm guessing it was caused from the physical, emotional, and mental stress I ended up having yesterday at work because it was...a hard day to say the least. Very draining and I suppose it drained me more than I thought because I'm thinking my muscles tensed up during the night and I didn't sleep very relaxed.

So when I woke up this morning just before 6am it was to a pounding headache behind my left eye. *exhales*

I got up long enough to grab a tylenol and get some heat on my shoulder from a heatpack and went back to bed for another hour...but the headache was still present when I had to actually get up to go to work.

I ended up taking an Excedrin....

And a 15 minute nap on my break.

And another Excedrin...

To no relief. :(

And I apparently wasn't as recovered from yesterdays turmoil as I'd been hoping because everything just seemed....harder.

Especially with a pounding head.

And unfortunately...I couldn't last.

It was getting to the point where I was feeling sick to my stomach, where it was difficult trying to focus on talking to customers.

So I called it.

Three hours into my shift I had to leave work early because I knew I wasn't going to last the entire 8 hours.

And so I came home and jumped straight into the shower to have the hot water pound on the back of my neck for like 20 minutes or so before I grabbed another heat pack and crashed in bed to sleep away the pain.

Which helped.

By the time I woke back up I was feeling better, my head wasn't aching as much like...barely at all, but I felt...unstable and weak. Sooooooo yah I spent the rest of the day just resting to make sure the migraine stayed away.

Tuesday, September 8, 2020

Had a headache this morning, again, for like the thousandth time in a row even though it's not quite that often.

But still. Headache is not fun.

I ended up calling my Daddoo in the middle of work because I'd taken some Tylenol and Excedrin for no relief and wanted to know what else I could take or do while I was stuck at work.

The suggestion ended up being to get a soda lol. Get some more caffeine into my system.

Since I'd had Dr. Pepper and Mountain Dew recently I decided to try a different caffeine source that I don't have as often, and grabbed a Coke from the vending machine we have in the store.

It seemed to do the trick as I managed to make the migraine go away before the end of my shift so woot finally some success!!

Monday, September 7, 2020

It is rather disheartening. That I was managing to get my migraines down to only like...a handful of times  a month.

Which considering all the crazy the pandemic has been giving off...it's rather amazing that my migraines had decreased rather than increased.

Cus usually stressful situations can set it off.

But it seems like getting more sleep definitely had helped to decrease said headaches.

Now though, it seems like I've taken two huge steps back.

Because it feels like for the past two weeks, I've had a headache form basically every day.

And I can't tell if it's the contacts.

I can't tell if it's sleep.

I can't tell if it's just a reaction to all the smoke from the fires burning in and out of the state.

But my muscles have tensed up to the point where it's a constant ache on my left shoulder and my neck.

And like...it's usually okay first thing when I wake up...but as the day progresses...so does the appearance of the headache.

So is it eye strain? Is my right eye once again rebelling and wanting to cut back on the power of my lens?

Is it the smoke?

Is it just me not sleeping as restfully as I should be?

I don't know.

And it's bugging me.

I don't want to have a constantly aching head.

But I'm not quite sure what I'm doing wrong to cause it.

And like...if it is simply the smokey air that's triggering it...there's not much I can do but wait for that to blow away.

*exhales*

It's just frustrating.

Sunday, September 6, 2020

Another day, another headache behind my right eye.

Is it the contact lens?

Is it the smoke in the sky?

Is it just me sitting in bad positions for too long?

Is it just subconscious stress?

Who knows.

At this point who knows.

Saturday, September 5, 2020

The headache behind my right eye came back again this afternoon.

I have to wonder if it's from like eye strain or something. Which would be frustrating if that was the case since I just recently switched to a new pair of contacts in the hopes that it would help the week of headaches I had last week.

Which the pain did lessen a bit after taking the contacts out. Plus taking like a hot shower and doubling down on Excedrin and having a heat pack.....

But if my eyes are doing that thing again where the right one decides it no longer likes the stronger prescription and wants the weaker one again instead....I may just have to bang my head against the wall. As it seems to like to flip flop every six months or so and that's just....hard to keep having to switch between strengths. *exhales*

Who knows...it could also just be I'm not sleeping the right amount. Or I'm just being tense at work. Or not eating enough though I have been trying to do my best with keeping myself fed, hydrated, and not sleep deprived.

But there's a definite ache behind my right shoulder blade that's radiating tension up into my head.

And I'm not quite sure how to get rid of it for the long term....

Maybe I need to adjust my posture or something....

Friday, September 4, 2020

Had a migraine for most of the afternoon and evening.
Which is rather irritating because without fail, they seem to occur on my days off.

Which probably means that they're caused by the change in my sleep schedule, or else the fact that I spent basically all day reading.

But there's a tension in my right shoulder that I can't seem to get rid of. Not with meds or heat or sleep.

It's just...tense.

And said tension means that I have it travel up from my shoulder to my neck to rest behind my right eye and just...well throb there.

*exhales* Hopefully a good nights sleep will help it fade.

But we'll see.

Wednesday, September 2, 2020

I've had a migraine/headache try to form almost every day for the past week.
And it's getting frustrating.

Like some causes are easy to pinpoint. Like Monday where I had a 5 am shift and only around 5 hours of sleep. The slight headache I ended up getting after coming home and taking a nap would make sense as my sleep schedule has been thrown off and I've realized that getting less than 7 hours of sleep makes me more prone to having headaches.

Work has also been on the more stressful side with customers being a bit more grumpy this week and my managers stressing over inventory happening tomorrow so ending up with headaches in the morning while I'm at work also makes sense if I end up...idk absorbing my coworker's stress. Plus just like dealing with unhappy customers can stress me out sooo again headache makes sense.

It's just frustrating.
To know that I can prevent these migraines from occuring.
And yet my usual methods aren't quite working?
*exhales*

Maybe I'm just exhausted in general. Maybe I need a break away from work.
Maybe I need to sleep a lot longer.
Who knows.

But I was rather liking not having a headache every day so this trend needs to stop. Soon.

Thursday, August 27, 2020

The migraine went nuclear last night.
I ended up taking a 2 am shower to try and relax my muscles back down.
But the stabbing pain behind my left eye refused to be relaxed.
I ended up dozing in my room, in the living room, in the family room, waking up every thirty minutes or so because the aching in my head refused to let me rest.
I took more meds.
But couldn't really eat anything because the moment anything touched my lips my stomach would rebel against it, even though my stomach was growling like crazy.

So yah.
It was a miserable night.
Though thankfully I was feeling 'well' enough to go to work and managed to get some food down and some excedrin and grabbed a Dr. Pepper that helped to keep the headache from reforming while I was at work.

*exhales* But it's left me tired.
So tired.

Wednesday, August 26, 2020

Ended up with a migraine tonight.
Which I suppose was a bit of a self-fulfilling prophecy that I would get one.
As I hadn't slept well last night, and I could feel the tired ache behind my eyes where I knew I needed to get more sleep or else I would end up with a migraine.

I was right.
I did try to get some sleep after I got home from work.
But I only managed about half an hour before the AC unit outside my room turned on and woke me up and it's constant whirr made it hard to go back to sleep.
And I'd hoped that half an hour would be enough to forstall the headache from coming.

It didn't.
And taking medicine and heat packs and naps and a hot shower didn't help it...and the migraine is only getting worse.
So it's unlikely that sleeping tonight will help it...if I can sleep at all that is....

Monday, August 24, 2020

I've had a slight headache behind my left eye for most of the day.
It started this morning probably from a) not getting enough restful sleep and b) reading too early in the morning before I went to work.
And it hovered throughout most of the work day because I had stressful coworkers around me for the first portion of my shift. So I was doing my best to try and keep myself calm and focused and not let their stress get to me.
Which it's hard to stay focused on anything when there's nothing to do lol. Part of the reason why I don't like evening shifts...if it's a slow day customer wise that means tasks get done so much faster and I ended up finishing the tasks we had to do like...within the first couple of hours of my shift. So booo that.
But I'd managed to make it mostly fade by the time my shift was over....though the stress of talking to a new person after work had it coming back because ahhh new people.
Hopefully I get a better night of sleep tonight to make the faint headache fully go away.

Saturday, August 22, 2020

Think I had a lunch break with a toxic energy today.

As I was feeling fine when I went to take my lunch break.
But like...as soon as I sat down to eat my lunch.
I had a migraine strike.

And like I'd had a faint headache behind my right eye threatening to become more than a faint faint irritatation.
But as I was eating my lunch the area behind my left eye began aching like crazy.
Like migraine intense type pain just started up.

I tried to ignore it.
Close my eyes and relax.

But it seemed as time passed,
Sounds got louder.
Lights got brighter.
And my head ached further.

...Until the other two people who were taking lunch in the breakroom finished their own breaks and left.

Then the migraine faded.
The pain in my left eye vanished.
And like five minutes later when my own break finished.
I was feeling fine.

It's the weirdest thing.
So weird.
But I'm grateful the migraine didn't stick around.

Thursday, August 20, 2020

Ended up with a headache behind my right eye while at work today.
Or maybe it slightly started before work.
I definitely woke up not feeling right and kinda figured that it would probably be because I'd end up with a migraine today.
I was right.

It was a rather lowkey one all things considered with all the potential stress I had to deal with because we had our District Manager drop by the store to visit today.
But it was just a faint ache behind my right eye....
Until about half an hour before my shift ended and it suddenly spiked.
Bleh.
At least taking an excedrin seemed to help it go away....along with a long shower and a nap after I got home from work.
It went back to being faint for most of the evening. So I was able to function at least.

Tuesday, August 11, 2020

I ended up with a minor migraine this morning at work because I was inundated with stress after being asked to be on register for the first half hour of the store being opened and I had to deal with multiple difficult transactions in a row.
So yah...early morning stress, added on with some irritation at unexpected issues propping up triggered a migraine to start behind my right eye that hasn't gone away all day. XP Bleh.
At least it's stayed as a minor headache. Usually about a 1-2 on the pain scale, but meds, shower, heat packs and eating food didn't help.
So I'm hoping that sleeping tonight will have the rest of it go away.
We'll see.

Sunday, August 9, 2020

I ended up with a headache behind my left eye today.

I'm pretty sure it's because I spent most of the day ignoring my desire to write in favor of my desire to read and my eyes probably got a bit strained.

But making sure that I got some food, took some meds, took out my contacts, and spent some time just sitting in front of my giant fishtank watching the fish helped it to fade away. So woot!

Saturday, August 1, 2020

Woke up with the same headache behind my right eye that I went to bed with last night.
Took a couple of advil to see if that would help and went back to bed.

So far it seems to have done the trick.
Though I can sense the tension in the muscles in my neck as I work on writing things.
So I'm going to try and keep heat on my shoulder and hope that I don't get too tense to trigger the migraine to come back.
We'll see.

Friday, July 31, 2020

Ended up with a major migraine today that spiked towards the end of work.

I'm pretty sure it was mostly having to deal with my coworker's energies.
As they were being...stressful.
And I can be sensitive to how other people are feeling.
And when everyone on the closing crew has intense energy for various reasons....it can overwhelm my defenses.

Though it probably didn't help at all that I also had spent the last couple of days basically just reading a couple of stories that were rather intense and had me forgoing food and sleep in favor of seeing what happened next.

But it is interesting to note that the headache only began to form after the closing crew came in for the evening.

Despite my attempts to keep it at bay by taking Tylenol and Excedrin and using a heatpack/naps on my break...
The migraine was pounding merrily away behind my right eye by the time I was finally free to clock out for the evening.

Thankfully as soon as I was in my car and driving away from work, the intensity of the migraine faded to a more manageable level. Which does lead me to believe that work and my coworkers were stressing me out to a certain extent.

I came home and grabbed more meds and a hot shower and then after warming up a heatpack went to my room and crashed for a few hours.

Woke up feeling better though the migraine is still present.
Hopefully a night of sleep will help it to fully fade.
But we'll see.

Tuesday, July 28, 2020

I had a brief headache form behind my left eye today while I was at work.
Which I'm guessing is mostly me just trying to navigate through the stressful energies that many of my coworkers were giving off as they were encountering problems that were stressing them out.

But I did what I could to get rid of the headache at work. Taking excedrin, having a heatpack on my breaks, resting my eyes, eating food when I could.

And about midway through my shift the headache got twice as bad. Like that pounding nail into the skull sort of agonizing pain.

That quickly went away (not sure if it was meds caused) because I ended up getting distracted having to deal with a rush of customers that lasted for like an hour.
So I don't know if the meds helped it to go away during that time, or just getting my mind off the ache and onto other problems helped to make it fade.

In either case, I was grateful that it didn't last my entire shift.

Sunday, July 26, 2020

I think I stressed myself out attempting to write something for most of the day.
As I have quite the headache forming behind my right eye.
Which usually happens on days when I try to write and I make very little progress.

So I'm thinking I may need to call it quits for the night.
Take out my contacts to relieve the slight strain there.
And go to bed.

Saturday, July 25, 2020

Woke up with a migraine behind my right eye today instead of my left.
Which is frustrating because I had an earlier shift today at work which meant I didn't really have the opportunity to get it gone before having to go in.
So I ended up suffering with the ache behind my eyes throughout the eight hour shift.
As it never really faded away despite my efforts to make it do so with advil and tylenol and dr. pepper and heat packs during my breaks.
It didn't go away when I got home either. Tried eating more food, taking more meds, more heat packs, even a shower.
So it's probably a sleep related headache since that's about the only thing I haven't tried yet.
So hopefully a good night's sleep will help it go away.
We'll see.

Friday, July 24, 2020

Woke up with a slight headache again behind my left eye this morning.
Which was rather frustrating as I was hoping that by getting it gone last night it would stay away today.

I ended up taking more tylenol and then an excedrin right before work to try and keep the migraine at a one and not get any worse.

And thankfully, work was less stressful today, and I was able to stay busy in a good way that distracted me from my migraine so it managed to vanish sometime during my shift.
Which is great.

Hopefully it stays away this time.

Thursday, July 23, 2020

I woke up with a slight headache behind my left eye this morning, which isn't a good thing to have before you need to go into work. But I took some Tylenol and then some Excedrin a couple of hours into my shift as I attempted to keep the headache down while I was working.
It didn't really work.
The headache got worse for a bit and I ended up taking some advil as well and taking an early lunch to try and rest my eyes enough to make the headache go away.
My manager even gave me some cream to put on my neck to try and relax the muscles there.

And like...everything I tried would help for a little bit....
Only for the headache to come back again.

So I guess it was less of a headache and more like a migraine.

The last half hour was torture as the migraine seemed to spike to the point where it felt like spikes were being drilled into my skull.
Which makes it difficult to focus on customers.
And just my luck there was a rush of customers who needed help and were rather needy needing to know everything about things like in the last fifteen minutes.

So by the end of my shift I was basically dying.
I came straight home and ended up taking a long hot shower before spending the next four hours in bed/couch with a heat pack resting my eyes and trying to make it go away.

Thankfully just before midnight it faded so woooo.

Hopefully I can keep it at bay.
but we'll see.

Monday, July 20, 2020

Had a slight headache form behind my right eye again today.
Probably due to tense muscles as my right arm has been aching for most of the day.
But been doing what I could to keep it at bay and I'm hoping sleep will help to get rid of the rest of it.
But we'll see.

Sunday, July 19, 2020

Ended up with a faint headache behind my right eye this morning.
Probably a combination between stressing about trying to write and then stressing about meeting up with family later today because family can be stressful at times, but also because the drive up north usually tenses me out to the point where i get stressed.

But thankfully the headache faded pretty quickly after I got to Daddoo's place and I think getting distracted with conversation and hanging with the family helped it to go away. So woot.

Thursday, July 9, 2020

Woke up with a migraine pounding away behind my left eye this morning.

I'm guessing it was caused by my body rebelling against having to work a late shift yesterday where I worked until 10pm. And perhaps I didn't relax the tension in my muscles enough before going to bed because I could see tense muscles causing the migraine to form during the night.

I'd hoped by taking some Excedrin that it would help the migraine go away so I could function at work.
But no dice.
It was one of those migraines where it was easily triggered to stick around.
As I was struggling to wear a mask at work today because the ear loop around my left ear was giving just enough pressure to make it unbearable to have on for long periods of time.
Which I know it's not a good sign if I can't wear my mask as most of the time I can wear it without any issues.
I tried drinking some caffiene, both mountain dew and dr. pepper to help get rid of the headache.
Had heat packs on my neck when I took breaks.
But unfortunately I couldn't get any 'alone' time in the breakroom on said breaks and coworkers were being noisy (chewing noisy, talking noisy, slamming things noisy) and the constant sound got on my nerves and made the migraine worse. *exhales*

It was getting to the point where even though the ache in my head was probably only at a 4 or 5 on the pain scale...I was feeling sick.
My stomach was feeling nauesous but who knows if that was from not eating well and me being hungry or the 'need to go throw up' sort of sick.
I was also experiencing some hot flashes too where it just felt too warm in the store.
And when it's difficult to talk to customers and stay upright...

I figured it was time to call it quits for the day.
The migraine wasn't bad, but the other symptoms were.
And so I clocked out of work two hours early and went straight home where I took a long hot shower to get some heat in my muscles before taking like a four hour nap.
And it helped mostly.
Helped enough I could function a bit in the evening.

But yah....
headache is still lingering so I'm hoping some more sleep will help it. We'll see.

Saturday, July 4, 2020

I ended up with a migraine today.
Not quite surprised about getting one though.
As I only got about 4.5 hours of sleep last night due to staying up late and then getting up early.
Which, having figured out that I do tend to get more headaches when I'm sleep deprived....I figured this may be the case.
Though I did try to prevent one from forming by taking Tylenol and then later Excedrin.
I knew my chances of avoiding one throughout the day were slim.
As I also had about a 10 hour dive to accomplish. 5 hours up and 5 hours down.
In the middle of which was a few hours spent outside in the sun.
And without having proper intake of food....

Yah. It was basically a recipe for a migraine to form.
And one did once we reached our destination.

I managed to negate it for a bit by taking a brief nap and more excedrin and eating more.

But yah.
Stress of driving. Stress of interacting. Stress of the heat. Stress of lack of sleep.

All in all.
Not good.

Hopefully getting more sleep tonight will have it go fully away.
We'll see.

Sunday, June 28, 2020

Woke up with a headache behind my left eye today.
Pretty sure it's from tension/sore muscles as my left arm/shoulder ache as well as other parts of my body...so I'm guessing I either slept tense...or I was so tense that when I relaxed as I slept I ended up sore because my muscles were so tense.
In either case...I woke up with a headache that has so far not gone away.
Tried tylenol and advil this morning along with some mountain dew. Currently trying to keep heat on it and eat more substantial meals today because I've been basically just snacking all week due to working evening shifts.
We'll see if it helps or not.

Saturday, June 27, 2020

Ended up with another headache today.
Which isn't too surprising considering that I had a nuclear migraine the day before.
And considering that I was woken up in the early pre-sunrise hours of the morning with a construction crew taking down the deck outside my window....I'm not surprised that the pounding and the banging and such triggered the headache/migraine today.
It didn't go away either unfortunately.
I managed to keep it fainter...but i'm guessing it was tension that kept it going into the evening as I had an evening shift today that went until close. Soooo constant headache at work wasn't the best either.
But hopefully some sleep will help it to go away.

Friday, June 26, 2020

Still had the migraine this morning after a night of moving between the couch and the bed trying to find somewhere comfortable to rest. The headache mostly faded away with the rising of the sun, but when I fully woke up it began coming back.
But taking more Excedrin, and drinking some Dr. Pepper/Mountain Dew and then getting distracted with a bunch of tasks at works seems to have made it go away for the day.
Hopefully I can keep it away.
But we'll see.

Thursday, June 25, 2020

Ended up with a migraine today towards the end of work.
Not even sure what caused it.
Maybe there was too much of a break between the Excedrins I was taking to stay relaxed enough to tolerate having to work another evening shift full of customer service.
Maybe it was irritation at customers.
Maybe it was irritation in general.
I know it spiked after having to deal with an indecisive customer who couldn't decide what fish they wanted and they had two children throwing a screaming temper tantrum and I just wanted to go clock out because I was off right then and hadn't yet finished closing and yah... *exhales*
So somewhere in there the migraine was triggered.
I came home and tried to relax. Sleep. Take more meds. Take a shower.
But nothing seems to be helping so I'm pretty sure it's going nuclear....we'll see if I can get rid of it through sleep, but it doesn't seem likely.

Sunday, June 21, 2020

The muscles on the right side of my neck tensed up this afternoon and refused to relax which triggered a headache to form behind my right eye. Pretty sure it's just from internal stress resulting mostly from work stresses but other worries about the state of the world as well. Hopefully some sleep helps it to go away.

Wednesday, June 17, 2020

Woke up with a headache this morning behind my right eye. Probably caused by too much reading yesterday as I spent the entire day doing just that.
Though it seems like Excedrin and a heat pack have helped the tension in my muscles to fade enough to make the headache fade away.
Hopefully I can keep it away for my evening workshift tonight.

Saturday, June 13, 2020

The tension in my shoulder/neck is still present and has been causing a slight headache behind my right eye and despite my attempts at heat packs and Excedrin it's still not helping to make it totally go away.

Thursday, June 11, 2020

Head is still doing that 'near' headache thing. Where the muscles in my neck and down into my shoulder blades are getting tense and difficult to relax, which triggers my head to have short bursts of aching. But it's nothing that's sticking around and putting heat on my muscles seems to help and the Excedrin helps a tiny bit but not as much as I've wanted it to.
Maybe just resting and chilling tomorrow will help it out.

Wednesday, June 10, 2020

I've been fighting against a headache forming for the past couple of days. Because the muscles in my neck/right shoulder have been super tense and it's been difficult to get them to relax and stayed relaxed. So throughout the day I've been getting little zings of brief headaches that don't stick around long.
Which is semi annoying as I'm trying to function but apparently I'm stressed enough that I can't relax. *exhales*
Hopefully I can keep a full blown headache from forming.
Brief ones at least don't last long.

Saturday, June 6, 2020

I think I triggered my own migraine today. *exhales* which is frustrating but understandable.
I think it was triggered because I was...well focusing on the negative this morning? Focusing on complaining instead of just doing my job?

But like...it was probably also from the unexpected stress of having to deal with two reptile sales first thing in the morning.
Like who wakes up and thinks "I want to go get a snake!" and show up right as we open the doors? *shakes head*

So I had two customers in a row needing my help. One with a ball python, another with a water dragon and like...
Both were needy in their own ways. Asking a lot of questions that I couldn't fully answer.

It's not the best way to start the morning, not when I was trying to get opening done.

Sooo yah....I think it was just that first early stress and then just being...idk negative about the experience that may have triggered the first onset of the migraine?

Who knows for sure.
It didn't get super bad like the one from a few days ago.
But it's definitely telling when Excedrin doesn't help it to go away.
I did my best to drink water, the take my breaks and use heat packs on it. Even got out the past tense essential oil in hopes it would relax my tensed up muscles.

No dice.
I did manage to make it go away in the end though.
After I got home from work and made myself a sandwich and ate a bit more food, drank some mountain dew, took a long hot shower, and more Excedrin and took a twenty minute nap...it helped.

So yay for that.
Still.
Not fun that I've been triggering the migraines more this week. XP

Thursday, June 4, 2020

I honestly am not quite sure how I ended up with today's migraine.
Like...it's probably mostly having to deal with lack of sleep is my guess....since I've been getting less sleep than normal this entire week compared to the last month....so that's probably a trigger.

Today's headache was behind the left eye. And with the left side of my neck and shoulder being tense...stress is probably a factor...though I'm not quite sure what the stress was over....
Maybe it's just a cumulation of having worked 7 days in a row. And I'm just...tired...like exhausted mentally, physically, emotionally...and this was my body's way of complaining over the fact that I've worked too hard this past week.

I could see that.
In any case.
Sleeping did seem to help my headache while I was at work.
I ended up taking my two fifteens earlier and then a lunch a little later and just spent all the breaks basically sleeping with a heatpack.
which seemed to help over all. At least to mellow the headache out for a little while so I could focus for an hour or so before needing to take another break.

Excedrin also seemed to help it a little.
Though strangely drinking dr pepper this time around didn't seem to help at all. It felt like my headache would get worse after taking a sip...but mountain dew seems to be helping instead. *shakes head*

In any case.
I came home and took a longer nap before taking a long hot shower where I just let the water pound on my shoulder and rested some more...and it seems to have helped the headache go away! So woot!
Hopefully I can keep it at bay again.
Though I do plan to spend tomorrow just resting and not doing much so as to let myself recover.

Tuesday, June 2, 2020

Ended up with a headache behind my right eye today though taking some Excedrin seems to be helping it to go away.
Pretty sure it's a combination of sleep deprivation and stress that contributed to today's headache.

Sleep deprivation because I've gone back to earlier shifts but am still going to bed at the same time...so I'm getting less sleep and I've decided I probably need at least 7 hours to get enough sleep...and I'm averaging 5-6 right now and haven't really taken any naps the past few days soooo yah sleep deprivation is probably contributing.

And stress is mostly from dealing with customers.
But also because we had received news first thing this morning that there could have been a protest coming our way.
Not to our store. But like passing by our store.
It was mostly a rumor of a rumor sort of thing. But we needed to go over what to do if the protests got violent. If people decided to storm the store and free the animals or something.

So yah. That was stressful wondering if we would have people marching by our location. If they'd break away to come into the store.
But like...nothing happened.

Still. Apparently I was stressing over it as again, headache.

But yah.
It's been a day.

Saturday, May 30, 2020

I have a slight headache forming behind my right eye currently. Though it has been lurking most of the day and started over towards the left side of my head.
I'm guessing it's related to sleep. That or just the typical Saturday stress of having to deal with customers all day long that tensed me up....

Tuesday, May 26, 2020

I ended up with another migraine today behind my left eye.

I am wondering if not getting enough sleep is factoring into how often I get headaches/migraines.
Because like...I barely had any headaches while I was going into work later in the morning. Like 8am or so.
Which even if I went to bed around midnight or so. I would get around 7 hours of sleep if not more if I went to bed earlier.

But as I've been shifting back into working earlier in the morning...I haven't been getting as much sleep because I've been struggling to go to bed before midnight despite my best intentions.

So I do wonder if a lack of sleep triggers the headaches more often...
It will have to be something I test out the next few shifts. ...if I can get to bed earlier so I can sleep a little longer.

But I also think just having to deal with...customers also triggered it. Customers and coworkers.
They were being stress cases today. Coworkers were stressing out.
Customers were just being...snippety. Difficult. Taking offense over things that we couldn't control. Like being 'shocked' that we didn't have a lot of crickets, goldfish, or other animals currently in stock. Like...we're being affected by the pandemic as well. Shipments are getting delayed. Being shorted. Being halved. Not coming.
We can't control things.

*exhales*
And just getting annoyed at customers who were being difficult...tensed me out and gave me a headache.

Thankfully taking some excedrin and a nap helped the headache to go away after I got home. So yay! :D

Monday, May 25, 2020

I've had a headache off and on behind my right eye for most of the day. Which is frustrating. Especially when Excedrin and heat packs weren't really helping to get rid of it. *exhales* I'm thinking it was tense muscles that triggered it. But it could also be the shifting of my sleep schedule since work is edging me back into working earlier in the morning rather than later so perhaps my body is complaining about the shorter sleeping schedule....

Sunday, May 24, 2020

I have a slight headache behind my right eye today.
Which isn't completely unexpected I suppose.
As I tend to get headaches on my days off and when I'm trying to focus on writing.
But it is irritating to have it happen anyways.

I'm guessing it's just tension. As my neck is aching and my right shoulder blade is sore too.
Which is a change up from the past couple of days where my left arm has been super sore.

But I'm hoping that I can keep the headache as a minor nuisance and that it doesn't become yet another migraine.

We'll see.

Saturday, May 23, 2020

I ended up with a nuclear migraine last night.
One that lasted into the early hours of this morning.

I'm pretty sure it was a stressor of some sort that triggered it. Though I did do my best to head it off by taking meds and drinking some caffeine while I was at work...

I'm mostly guessing that it was just the usual work stress of trying to find something to do to pass the time when I finish my opening tasks.
As Fridays...there's no bedding change.
So I end up getting done with tasks really early...leaving me hours of trying to fill the time while I wait for customers to come in.

Usually Fridays are fish days.
So like...we get in our fish shipments on Fridays...but with the pandemic going on....everything is messed up. And the trucks are coming in at weird times.

Thankfully yesterday's fish shipment came in before I was off. So it gave me something to do.
However, it was an extremely small shipment. Only one layer of boxes on the pallet.

Which our fish shipments usually have two or three layers.
So one layer is really small.

To make matters worse.
We only got in 4 bettas.

Which isn't unexpected. As we were told that the facility that sends out the bettas....has had some issues relating to the pandemic.
So while we usually get in 20-40 bettas at a time...
Now it's just...random.
Sometimes we only get in 4. Othertimes it's 14....
But it's not as many bettas as we used to get.

Which was probably stressful for me because my sister's son was looking forward to getting a new betta this week because his died a couple of days ago.

And the ones that came in were like $20 bettas. And they weren't exactly in the colors that her son was looking for.

So yah that was stressful.
And I'm guessing that may have been the main trigger to the headache.
As I don't like disappointing people.

And I could feel the headache beginning towards the end of my shift.
I tried to head it off after work by grabbing a Dr. Pepper and food from Wendy's. Hoping that having more nutrients in my system would prevent the headache from going full blown migraine.

It didn't help.

The migraine got progressively worse.
To the point where I basically just died on the couch for the rest of the evening.
Showers didn't help.
Heat packs didn't help.
Excedrin slightly helped.

But yah....it was rough.
At least the migraine left before I had to go into work. So yay that.

Thursday, May 14, 2020

Another headache appeared today.
Pretty sure it's just from tension as my roommate has been banging around and slamming things all throughout the day. And I'm probably just tensing up and not breathing much and probably didn't eat/drink enough because I was trying to avoid being around the roomie as much as possible.
but yah.
Ended up with a slight headache today behind my right eye.

Wednesday, May 13, 2020

Ended up with a slight headache behind my right eye today.
I think it's tension based.
As it came on towards the end of my shift when I was the most tired and the most stressed in trying to close down the department when everyone and their mom suddenly needed my help. *exhales*

But yah. It's fading now...mostly because I think I distracted myself away from the headache.
But it could have also been eating things and drinking liquids too...
