Ended up with a slight headache behind my left eye today, I think from just the tension of the pressure I was putting on myself to try and get a chapter written and a different chapter published today.
Which got worse as my self imposed deadline got closer....and then passed. XP
This is why I don't do deadlines. I almost never make them.

The headache has been coming and going for most of the afternoon, though I mostly managed to make it go away when I ate some real food for dinner. A nice meal of spaghetti lol. Yay filling my stomach.

My muscles around my right shoulder blade were still tense this morning when I woke up which meant that yes, I woke up with a headache still taking up residence behind my right eye. *exhales*
I took some Tylenol to try and get rid of it, but at work just ended up buying a Dr. Pepper instead.

Which surprisingly, that seemed to help a lot in getting rid of the headache.
Though I think part of it was caused by my right contact lens as it's...streaky? idk but when I look at lights there's a slight streaking halo around them that isn't the normal starburst that I usually see when I glance at lights.
So dealing with that faint irritation too probably caused my headache as well.

Thankfully it's gone currently.

I have a headache currently taking up residence behind my right eye.
It started towards the end of work, I think as I was getting tired of listening to my coworkers talk over the radio and was gearing up to head home....and the tension in my shoulder increased when one of our difficult customers walked into the store. XP Bleh.
Thankfully I didn't have to deal directly with this customer, but still stressful.

Have been trying heat packs and some Tylenol to get the headache to go away, but so far it's not working too well....almost thinking that it's my contact again causing part of the issue as well as it's been slightly bugging my right eye for around half my shift....
I just don't want to take it out yet.

Bleh.
We'll see if like...eating real food will help it or something.

A headache kept attempting to form and stay behind my eyes today because my muscles between my shoulder blades were sore and my neck was sore and my arms were sore...so like my entire upperbody was sore, probably from helping Daddoo move things around over the weekend.
So I was doing what I could to keep my body relaxed. Drinking more water, taking meds, using heat packs.

Though really the headache only went away as my stress levels over three different social interactions today decreased to a fraction of the time I thought it was going to take.
So yay less time.
And yay headache going away.

Had a headache form behind my right eye this afternoon.
It started though with my teeth randomly beginning to ache and then my muscles in my neck growing tense and then the headache hit after that point.
Almost I wonder if there's something in the air causing it as it was storming throughout the day and when I went up to visit my family Kikay and Daddoo were also suffering from migraines today too. O.o weird.

I managed to make mine go away with some heat and a bit of advil. But yah...weird that everyone seemed to have one.

Woke up with a migraine. Oh goodie.
It's behind my right eye today.
With tension leading down the neck and into the shoulder blade area.

Heatpacks have provided temporary relief.
Advil and Excedrin haven't helped.
Having a Dr. Pepper brought minor relief.
Going to Wendy's and eating food there helped it to go away for a bit.

But the migraine is coming back now that I'm home.
So just gonna chill with a heatpack on my shoulders and hope that it will stay minor and not get worse.

The building blocks were probably triggered last night when I had difficulties falling asleep after being woken back up.
It probably was added to when I was dealing with the stressors also triggered last night and my helpless feeling where I don't know if I can do anything to help out certain situations.

But I'm pretty certain that the headache behind my left eye was triggered after having a group of like...six to eight kids (I have no idea how many there actually were but there was a lot of them) all under the age of ten running rampant around the store for at least an hour it felt like.
And like...while energetic and excited they were well behaved....at first.
But the longer the parent spent in the store with them, the less behaved they got.
Especially when they all discovered the dog toys made noise.
And began squeaking them nonstop for like a good fifteen minutes straight.

And noises like that can easily get on my nerves if they continue for too long.

And their energy just got like...more chaotic. They got louder.
And yah, pretty sure having to deal with the kids in the store is what triggered the headache.

Thankfully some rest and food and Advil seems to have helped it go away.
But we'll see if it actually stays gone.

I have a slight headache forming behind my right eye currently.
Which isn't that surprising considering I had a nuclear migraine last night.
And a semi-stressful day at work today.

But the main causation of this particular migraine may be my contact lens.
As I tried to put in my current one this morning...only for it to feel wrong on my eye. Like it wasn't fitting right.
And knowing that if it wasn't fitting right now...it would probably irritate me later, I ended up pulling out an old contact lens that I had on hand and placing it in my eye to see if that would help it.
It did. Which yay.
But downside is it's one of the old lens that is the weaker prescription.
So there's a bit more of a 'fight' happening between my left and right eyes to have a good focus going on.
So it's no wonder there's tension building up in my neck as my eye is probably struggling to see as well as it has been seeing.

I was right.
That the faint ache behind my eyes would end up becoming a greater headache.

It did.
I ended up with one of those nuclear migraines last night.
The one where it feels like my head is trying to split in half and my stomach is rolling and twisting and my breathing is quick and shallow and I'm trembling with my teeth chattering---*exhales*

Yah. Nuclear migraine.

It was bad enough last night that I couldn't take any further medication because I wasn't confident I could keep it down.
So I ended up taking a longer shower/bath and curling up on the couch downstairs with a heatpack listening to the trickle of water from my fish tank.

So by the time it was time to get up for church, the worst of it was over. Over enough that I could go to church without too much issue.

But the day has progressed enough that I can feel the ache in my left shoulder moving up to my neck and behind my left eye.

So we'll see if I can keep the aftershock headache from forming.
At this stage I doubt it.
But I can do what I can.

Have a slight ache behind my eyes that isn't quite a full blown headache just yet. But could head that way easily enough.

Pretty sure it's just like a....exhaustion headache.
From both mentally and emotionally and probably physically being over stimulated.

I crashed for like 45 minutes upon getting home.
Not sure if it was enough.
Been eating a bit to also make sure my energy gets up.

But yah.
Just tired.
Tired to the point of things can turn into a major headache if I'm not being careful.

Thursday, January 16, 2020

Ended up with a headache behind my right eye today.
I think it was mostly from just being tired and not eating food right away and pushing myself to get things done.

As after taking some Excedrin and eating dinner....the headache has mostly gone away, though it came back a bit after some slight drama along the home front so gah.

You finally feel like you can relax and then something happens to stress you out again.

Wednesday, January 15, 2020

I ended up with a faint headache towards the end of work. Mostly from tense muscles I think. As I got some slightly stressful work related news today while on shift. So yah....

Thankfully it was minor. Nothing too crazy.

Saturday, January 11, 2020

I ended up with a major migraine behind my right eye today and I'm pretty sure it's from the soreness of my muscles from of all the moving and heavy lifting I did yesterday while helping my Daddoo out around the house.

As really the headache only began to really fade away after I had one of my coworker massage my right shoulder for a few minutes to just get the muscles to relax.

As Excedrin, Advil and resting with a heat pack on my breaks hadn't done much to get them muscles to relax/loosen.

Thankfully it's mostly gone now.

Thursday, January 9, 2020

I ended up with a slight headache behind my left eye today after I put in my contacts but then it jumped over behind my right eye and stayed there for most of the day as a faint ache. Annoying but easy enough to ignore for the most part.
However Excedrin and heat would make it go away throughout my work day and due to work stress it was hard to relax and such.

But after a brief foray back over behind my left eye the headache finally vanished with the setting of the sun...and because I got distracted dealing with stress of the dentist. But I'm glad it finally faded away.

Tuesday, January 7, 2020

I ended up with a headache this afternoon, behind my right eye today.
Part of it is probably because I ran out of things to do at work and so I was trying to find things to keep me busy for the last couple of hours.

But I think the main trigger of this one was the fact that one of my coworkers ended up with a buggy/staticy radio where it was mostly just like...static whenever they tried to speak yet no one tried to switch it out despite me commenting on it a time or two. *exhales* so the interference just like...got on my nerves.
Moreso when my manager ended up with the beepy radio. The one that let's out a loud BEEP every time they finish speaking into the radio and this manager was being more chatty today so i was hearing the beep every other minute it felt like....

So yah it tensed up my shoulder which tensed up my neck which sent the headache straight up into my eye. XP
Have taken meds to see if that would help. But so far it hasn't really. It's faded a bit but hasn't really gone away.

Monday, January 6, 2020

I may have finally kicked the headache behind my left eye to the curb today.
Though it was still present when I woke up this morning it remained at the same intensity it had been at since like...well Saturday or so.

Not quite sure what has made it go away this time though. I think it may be drinking more water?? But it also began to fade away after I took an Excedrin at lunch time. Though it probably really only vanished because I got distracted enough working on the fish count to not be focusing on the headache and so it just like....vanished.

*fingers crossed* that it stays gone for a while.

Sunday, January 5, 2020

My goal to have less migraines/headaches this year is off to a wonderful start considering I've had like three in the past five days. *exhales*
Dear self. Listen to me and let my head rest in peace please?

In any case.

It's the same headache as the last three days.
Behind the left eye.
With tension radiating down to my neck and shoulder....

Again, I have to wonder if it's from my contact lens...because that's the only thing that's changed recently. Which is weird because like it's the same prescription...just a different lens.

I may try this one again tomorrow and see.

But if I get another migraine I may just go back to the old lens I was wearing before or else open up yet another new lens and hope that that new one doesn't cause the irritation to my eye that the current one may be doing.

*shakes head*

So far nothing's helping it. Not meds not food not sleep not heatpacks...I may, as soon as the sun sets go take out my contact lens and see if that changes anything.

Saturday, January 4, 2020

It's one of those rare headache days where I had an ache on the left side instead of the right side of my head.
I almost think it's from putting in new contact lenses today.

But it probably could be from other stressors as well.
Who knows.

It went away later on this evening after I had a hot meal so maybe I was just hungry....

Friday, January 3, 2020

Still had the same headache I went to bed with this morning. Thankfully it was just one of those slight irritation headaches that didn't interfere too much with my day.
But it's been difficult to get rid of as heat packs, a shower, and Advil haven't helped it.
I ended up taking an Excedrin and made a dinner of spaghetti...and somewhere in the middle of making/eating the pasta the headache went away. Unknown if it was the food or the meds kicking in or both that has it fading, but in either case I'm happy it's finally going away.

Thursday, January 2, 2020

Ended up with a headache behind my right eye this evening.
It's probably from not getting enough sleep as I meant to take a nap after work today, but then I ended up getting distracted reading things and never took the nap....

So yah.
Probably getting distracted enough to not eat as much either is probably another cause for the headache.

So it will probably be solved by getting some rest....
