Brain: I had this fun idea!
Me: We don't need to hear it. Bedtime.
Brain: No, seriously! It's fun! I mean....you know how we had this whole 'one plot' line thing going?
Me: *sighs* Yah?
Brain: What if....they made this choice? Or this other choice?! OR THIS CHOICE!! Instead??? Think of it! Think of how the story can change just from one choice! Isn't it amazing?! Come on, think on it some more. It's fun!

Fishy Fish Fish

It was the customers.
Usually Monday's aren't crazy busy.
You have a few people come in.
Maybe have a 15 minute lunch rush.
And that's about it.
Mondays tend to be rather slow.

But not today.

Just a bit after noon,
I had a rush of people.
All wanting to get fish.
And not just any fish.
But specific fish where I had to focus on the tank and catch the particular fish they're looking for.

Again.
And again.
and again.

For like 2 hours straight.

I didn't move from the fish wall at all.
It was fish, fish, fish, occasionally crickets, and more fish!

It ended up tensing me up.
I developed an ache behind my eyes.
From straining to see the fish,
from trying to catch said fish quickly so I could move onto the next customer.

And yah...the tension resulted in a headache. :( That will not go away.

Brain: Why'd you have to go stick your foot in your mouth.
Me: How was I supposed to know they'd react that way?
Brain: You should have just said you had a friend looking for a job and left it at that.
Me: I know! I know. I should have, but I wanted her to look good.
Brain: You made her look too good.
Me: How was I supposed to know they'd be frightened off by her current job experience!
Brain: You just should have. Now we won't get our bestfriend hired because of you.
Me: I know. I know....
Brain: Why'd you have to go stick your foot in your mouth?

Regressing?

I don't like it when things appear to backslide.

Especially when it's medically related.
How I've had some issues with the lymphnodes in my arm. Where they've been swollen for months...but now are finally starting to heal and go away.

Only for a couple of them suddenly to appear to be swelling again.

But I don't know if it's something to worry about.
Or if, since I was doing a lot of things with that arm, that involved brushing against the nodes, that I just irritated them a bit, it's actually nothing to worry about, the apparent swelling is nothing....

Who knows.
How long before I have to actually worry that the progress has reversed and is now regressing?

So...Headache.
