I sagged down in my seat, trying and failing to appear unaffected by the heat.
But I was positively melting. It was too hot. Far too hot.
Even here in the shade I couldn't get comfortable.
And yet, everyone around me seemed perfectly content to just sit there, chilling, like it wasn't a blazing hundred degrees out here.
I took a breath, hating how it seemed to dry out my throat.
No. No I couldn't take this anymore.
In a flash I was up out of my seat, heading indoors.
To where it was gloriously cool. To where I could feel comfortable again.
