I slump to the ground, hand gripping my shirt over my chest as I struggled to breathe. Blast it. Blast it Blast It Blast it. I growled to myself. Why did my body have to betray me now? Only a few more minutes, another mile and it would be worth it in the end.
Shakily I pulled myself to my feet, staggering more than running but unable to do anything more. Just a few more fee---I groaned as blackness covered my vision, as my cheek hit cold pavement. As I lost more than my consciousness with my ineptitude.
