Never Cold

"Renee are you crazy!!" My coworker, Mary Sue demanded rushing up to me. "You could have frozen to death! It's COLD!!" She scolded grabbing onto my hands and pulling me further inside.
I blinked, surprised at the concern. "Someone had to go out and shovel the driveway if we're to get any customers in today."
"Yes, but usually people shoveling in negative degree weather wear a Coat!" she hissed, frowning down at my hands in hers.
Oh, right. A Coat. In the moment I hadn't even thought about grabbing one. "Honestly, it wasn't that cold." I said. "You must be sensitive, your hands are colder than mine."
Her frown deepened. "How in the world is that possible? You just barely came inside!"
"Cold doesn't bother me." I said with a shrug, pulling my hands from hers. "I like winter unlike some people."
"Unlike most people." Her dark eyes met my light ones.

-Inspiration from going outside to gather carts without a coat when my coworker complained it was cold outside.
