I have a slight headache forming behind my right eye currently. Though it has been lurking most of the day and started over towards the left side of my head.
I'm guessing it's related to sleep. That or just the typical Saturday stress of having to deal with customers all day long that tensed me up....

I ended up with another migraine today behind my left eye.
I am wondering if not getting enough sleep is factoring into how often I get headaches/migraines.
Because like...I barely had any headaches while I was going into work later in the morning. Like 8am or so.
Which even if I went to bed around midnight or so. I would get around 7 hours of sleep if not more if I went to bed earlier.
But as I've been shifting back into working earlier in the morning...I haven't been getting as much sleep because I've been struggling to go to bed before midnight despite my best intentions.
So I do wonder if a lack of sleep triggers the headaches more often...
It will have to be something I test out the next few shifts. ...if I can get to bed earlier so I can sleep a little longer.
But I also think just having to deal with...customers also triggered it. Customers and coworkers.
They were being stress cases today. Coworkers were stressing out.
Customers were just being...snippety. Difficult. Taking offense over things that we couldn't control. Like being 'shocked' that we didn't have a lot of crickets, goldfish, or other animals currently in stock. Like...we're being affected by the pandemic as well. Shipments are getting delayed. Being shorted. Being halved. Not coming.
We can't control things.
*exhales*
And just getting annoyed at customers who were being difficult...tensed me out and gave me a headache.
Thankfully taking some excedrin and a nap helped the headache to go away after I got home. So yay! :D

I've had a headache off and on behind my right eye for most of the day. Which is frustrating. Especially when Excedrin and heat packs weren't really helping to get rid of it. *exhales* I'm thinking it was tense muscles that triggered it. But it could also be the shifting of my sleep schedule since work is edging me back into working earlier in the morning rather than later so perhaps my body is complaining about the shorter sleeping schedule....

I have a slight headache behind my right eye today.
Which isn't completely unexpected I suppose.
As I tend to get headaches on my days off and when I'm trying to focus on writing.
But it is irritating to have it happen anyways.
I'm guessing it's just tension. As my neck is aching and my right shoulder blade is sore too.
Which is a change up from the past couple of days where my left arm has been super sore.
But I'm hoping that I can keep the headache as a minor nuisance and that it doesn't become yet another migraine.
We'll see.

I ended up with a nuclear migraine last night.
One that lasted into the early hours of this morning.
I'm pretty sure it was a stressor of some sort that triggered it. Though I did do my best to head it off by taking meds and drinking some caffeine while I was at work...
I'm mostly guessing that it was just the usual work stress of trying to find something to do to pass the time when I finish my opening tasks.
As Fridays...there's no bedding change.
So I end up getting done with tasks really early...leaving me hours of trying to fill the time while I wait for customers to come in.
Usually Fridays are fish days.
So like...we get in our fish shipments on Fridays...but with the pandemic going on....everything is messed up. And the trucks are coming in at weird times.
Thankfully yesterday's fish shipment came in before I was off. So it gave me something to do.
However, it was an extremely small shipment. Only one layer of boxes on the pallet.
Which our fish shipments usually have two or three layers.
So one layer is really small.
To make matters worse.
We only got in 4 bettas.
Which isn't unexpected. As we were told that the facility that sends out the bettas....has had some issues relating to the pandemic.
So while we usually get in 20-40 bettas at a time...
Now it's just...random.
Sometimes we only get in 4. Othertimes it's 14....
But it's not as many bettas as we used to get.
Which was probably stressful for me because my sister's son was looking forward to getting a new betta this week because his died a couple of days ago.
And the ones that came in were like $20 bettas. And they weren't exactly in the colors that her son was looking for.
So yah that was stressful.
And I'm guessing that may have been the main trigger to the headache.
As I don't like disappointing people.
And I could feel the headache beginning towards the end of my shift.
I tried to head it off after work by grabbing a Dr. Pepper and food from Wendy's. Hoping that having more nutrients in my system would prevent the headache from going full blown migraine.
It didn't help.
The migraine got progressively worse.
To the point where I basically just died on the couch for the rest of the evening.
Showers didn't help.
Heat packs didn't help.
Excedrin slightly helped.
But yah....it was rough.
At least the migraine left before I had to go into work. So yay that.

Another headache appeared today.
Pretty sure it's just from tension as my roommate has been banging around and slamming things all throughout the day. And I'm probably just tensing up and not breathing much and probably didn't eat/drink enough because I was trying to avoid being around the roomie as much as possible.
but yah.

Ended up with a slight headache behind my right eye today.
I think it's tension based.
As it came on towards the end of my shift when I was the most tired and the most stressed in trying to close down the department when everyone and their mom suddenly needed my help. *exhales*
But yah. It's fading now...mostly because I think I distracted myself away from the headache.
But it could have also been eating things and drinking liquids too...

I ended up with a headache behind my left eye today.
Which I took to mean that I would probably end up with a nuclear headache...though....I actually think *knock on wood* that I managed to make it go away? Which is kinda crazy because I was totally prepared for this particular headache to knock me out for the rest of the evening and into tomorrow morning.
But I'm actually feeling alright right now. So woot!
But yah....triggers....I'm guessing may be heat induced? And tension. Can't forget tension.
As I was expected to both open up and close down my department today due to how scheduling worked out and I'm expecting I'll have to do the same thing tomorrow XP booooo.
In any case. I'm pretty sure it was a) trying to get everything done quickly was a factor as it meant that I didn't get as much water into me as normal. And b) I think probably taking my lunch an hour later than I meant too probably also factored into it as I'm sure if I don't have enough calories/energy/whatever in my system then my body signals it's unhappiness by triggering a headache.
So yah lack of food and water. Then stress of trying to get all the opening done before I had to close the department.
And add into that that my work provided us masks today and I chose to wear it...and it got hot...as i probably wasn't getting a good enough airflow or was breathing shallowly in the first place because I was focused on trying to get everything done...probably contributed to the headache.
Though the mask itself was rather comfortable and easy to breathe in.
It's just when you're trying to do everything at a mile a minute that...it's probably a good idea to not wear the mask.
Note to self. Tasking. Take the mask off because breathing is important.
But I figured this headache was gonna be a nuclear one because taking tylenol and then excedrin didn't help it go away while I was at work.
And if the meds don't help it...and my last ditch efforts to drink more water and eat something in my shift wasn't helping it...
I figured i was doomed for the headache to get worse.
But when I got home I took another Excedrin, grabbed a Dr. Pepper to sip from, ate a piece of bread and went and chilled in my room for a bit to 'cool' down as I could still feel the heat coming off of me from being too hot (as it was hot outside today too weeee) but yah I laid down in a way to stretch out the tense muscles in my neck and then took a long hot shower to try and further relax the muscles.
And eating an actual dinner made by my roomie also probably helped too.
But yah.
Overall the headache is basically gone! Woot!
I still feel the faintest of faintest tinges of it but methinks I managed to actually head it off today! Woot!
Because I seriously need my a-game on tomorrow because we have the District Manager coming in and I want the store to look good for her.

Had a headache behind my right eye for most of the day.
Pretty sure it was tension caused.
Just because things at home have been...tense.
And it's hard to relax when you're just waiting for the other shoe to drop so to speak.
So yah.
Despite my best efforts.
A headache pounded behind my right eye for most of the day.
Maybe sleep will help it.

Have a slight headache behind my right eye again. It's probably due to tension/stress/irritation as it's steadily stayed around due to one of my roomies being irritating and stressing me out with their...attitude.
Meds and heat haven't helped it. Though eating some food did make it fade briefly. *exhales*
I'm thinking maybe sleep will help...we'll see.

I have a faint ache behind my eyes.
I think it's a combination of stress and tension and the wrong amount of sleep.
So yah.
I'm doing my best to keep it at bay.
But at this point it's either going to become nuclear...or it will go away with sleep and only trying to go to bed will give me the answer.

Woke up with a headache behind my right eye again today.
I'm guessing it may be a combination of a tension headache and maybe sleeping too long?? As I didn't fully wake up until after like 10am when I'm usually awake far earlier. So my body is probably slightly off kilter from sleeping too long.
But it's also probably triggered by tension as I was doing a craft project with Kikay last night and probably sat in an awkward position for too long on top of a long drive back home late at night....so yah. Tension headache.
But getting some food into me, as well as taking some Excedrin and having a heatpack on my shoulder seems to be helping it to go away.
Hopefully it doesn't get triggered to come back during my workshift tonight.
