Me: Yah... But we're trying to sleep.
Brain: That's okay! We can use imagination! *proceeds to dream about running away from things* isn't this exciting?! ...
Me: *tossing and turning* NO!!
Brain: But...*jazz hands* Exercise!!

ReplyDeleteHa. Nothing that works every time. The most successful one for when I can't just drift off to sleep, is that I listen to the "Prince of Egypt" soundtrack on a quiet setting where I need to slightly strain to hear it as I fall asleep, as the music distracts my brain and makes it difficult to focus/obsess over whatever it was obsessing over.
