Home At Last

It took me nearly an hour to get home after I left Hatch in the parking lot. I may have felt fine while I was lying down, but sitting up was close enough to standing that it nearly was a moot point. I ended up pulling into a parking lot four blocks away, to just lie down and convince my stomach that my car didn't need to be redecorated. It was a long fifteen minutes before I thought I would be able to sit up again. That lasted nearly to Harvey's home. Before I again had to pull over and lay back down. Talk about frustrating!
By the end of my journey, I really wished that Hatch had offered to drive me home. Because what I'd just gone through. Torture. Pure and simple. Having him carry me into the house and up two flights of stairs also would have been alright with me by that point.
Because seriously, I felt like a new born colt at the end of a marathon by the time I collapsed onto my bed. Exhausted. Tired. And yah, definitely sick.
