It's safe to say that I can't pull off any of our jobs without Jessa. And she would agree with me. "If you didn't have me, the press wouldn't be impressed with your heists."
Good thing she doesn't read this blog. Because I have to admit she's right. If we don't steal valuable items, then the heist itself isn't impressive.
Personally I could care less about value, the intricacy of the theft is what I live for.
But I've learned through careful tutoring of Jessa, to ask her what to steal. If she can find a good market for it, then it's a go. If we can't, then it's hard to convince the rest of my crew that this heist is worth the risk of jail. Like there ever is a risk.
Like Billy, Jessa wasn't keen on robbing a Pet Store either. She didn't see the value in robbing the place. But at my insistence she looked it up.
Wow. Just wow.
Do you know how valuable pet stuff is?
I totally didn't. Neither did Jessa.
Let's just say. It's a lot.
And convinced her that my crazy idea, wasn't that crazy after all.
There was a market. The items had value. Therefore she couldn't argue that this heist was doable.

... You realize this is a public blog, right? Eventually someone on the police force is going to read this... are you sure this is a good idea?
ReplyDeleteWhat?! This BLOG IS PUBLIC?! Oh no! And here I thought people magically found this place. *rolls eyes* Come on Ruby. I know what I'm doing. I haven't totally lost my mind.
ReplyDeleteAre you sure? Because I think I just saw it running around outside my window.
DeleteOdd, my mind usually floats among the clouds, you must have seen a different one. Are you sure it wasn't Ivy's?
ReplyDeleteOI!! DON'T YOU BE INSULTING MY ROOMMATE!!!
DeleteFunny. I would have thought that if two of my 'crew' as you call them, didn't want to rob a place. I wouldn't rob a place! Beyond that. What in freedom's name has value in a pet store? You couldn't be thinking of stealing the animals? That is more work in itself then it's worth. Trust me. I know.
